Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Reichert.
Hi Laura, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
In the world of life coaching, some stories deeply resonate, blending personal growth with a mission. I’m Laura Reichert, the driving force of Triangle Life Coaching. With my 56th birthday just around the corner this September, I look back at my journey— from the struggles of young homelessness in New York City and facing personal challenges to finding my groove as North Carolina’s leading Mindset Mastery life coach. It’s about grit, heart, and being true to oneself. Decades ago, George Reichert became my anchor. Together, we built a loving family of three children. Today, I’m not just a mom but a doting grandma to Theo. Every role, from wife to grandmother, has deepened my understanding of life, enriching my coaching insights.
Early challenges molded me, with a milestone being the “Women’s Day” Dare to Dream contest win in 2005. That win fueled my passion, leading to the birth of Believe In You Life Coaching and, later, Triangle Life Coaching.
I’ve always believed in this: “To live authentically is to align every decision with your heart’s true desires.”
My credentials, notably being a PCC from the ICF, underpin my expertise. It’s been a privilege to share on platforms like iHeart Radio’s G105 with Erica DeLong and WRAL’s morning show.
Through my “Mindset Mastery” program, I aim to help individuals tap into their inner strengths. My entrepreneurial spirit has seen ventures like the safe cleaning product 4-Sure in 2005. Collaborations with names like Northwestern Mutual Bank, iHeart Media Raleigh, and WRAL morning show highlight my continuous evolution.
Giving back means the world to me, as evident from my association with The Caring Place, where I aided homeless families.
Now, I’m stepping into an exciting phase— launching my Coaching Training Program. Eager to guide budding life coaches, our first group begins their transformative journey in January 2024.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My journey, sprinkled with its fair share of highs and lows, has truly shaped me. While I’ve faced moments of brilliance, I’ve also walked through some pretty dark valleys. Being homeless was a tough chapter, but revisiting those memories from a place of comfort later in life was a different beast. I turned to trauma therapy, which, though tough, was a pathway to healing.
Funny enough, as I coached others, I also embraced coaching for myself. This self-reflection helped me see through some of my blind spots and realize we’re all eternal students.
Of course, there were times when self-doubt crept in, making me wonder if I truly belonged. But memories of my journey and the lives I’d touched kept me grounded.
While filled with love, my 33 years married to George came with its ups and downs. Juggling family life—with three kids and my adorable grandson Theo—and my business is no small feat.
Leading in the coaching realm came with pressures, but I learned to balance others’ expectations with staying true to myself.
Mental health has always been close to my heart. Dealing with my own challenges showed me the importance of seeking help and leaning on those who care.
While my work reaches corners of the globe, staying connected to my roots has been key. It’s a memory of where I started and keeps me humble.
If there’s one thing I’d love for people to take from my story, it’s the incredible strength we all have within. My journey is just one example, and I hope it inspires others to find their own path and purpose that is authentic to them.
As you know, we’re big fans of Triangle Life Coaching. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
