Exploring Life & Business with Phil Kolarczyk of The Phoenix Edge PLLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Phil Kolarczyk.

Hi Phil, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Phil found a passion in helping individuals. He played football in college as an offensive lineman who are known to do “all the work and none the glory.” He took this passion into medicine. He found his true calling in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). It was a combination of helping people and making an impact on someone’s quality of life.

The Phoenix Edge was established in 2021 with the ambition to make HRT affordable and accessible to as many people as possible. We established ourselves and continue to operate as a direct pay clinic so that we would not allow insurance to dictate how to treat an individual. The ‘phoenix’ is a symbol of rebirth, renewal and hope, which directly correlates with our mantra to Be U Again.

In the beginning, we started out of a shared office space. We rented three rooms in a single hallway and went to work. The opening days were slow but steady. Weekends were filled with tradeshows and conventions to get the word out. Within three months, we were being asked to leave the shared office space due to the amount of people coming through and hindering other organizations’ day to day practices. Within 6 months moved into a stand alone building and had 3 open rooms. Fast forward to 2025, all rooms were used and a break room was transformed into a nurse station with 4 or more people in it at any given time. Luckily, as of October, we moved into a bigger space. In four short years, we have went from 400 sq ft, to 1700 and now 4300 sq ft. We are humbled and excited about our growth.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle as an owner is to balance wearing all the hats. There is the day to day functions of our practice and seeing patients, but then going home and shifting focus on admin duties like accounting, IT, marketing, etc. Fortunately, we have since hired a practice manager that has helped take some of the responsibilities off my hands. This also leads to the next biggest challenge we have faced in growing The Phoenix Edge. Hiring the right people. Individuals who not only have the necessary skills but also align with our mission and values. Finding team members who are truly passionate about helping others regain their health and maintain long-term wellness is essential to our success. While this has been a significant obstacle, it has also reinforced the importance of building a strong, dedicated team that shares the same commitment to personalized care and sustainable results.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
