Today we’d like to introduce you to Sierra Myers.
Hi Sierra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Since I was a child, I have always been very connected to the earth, the wind, the trees, my ancestors, and of course, spirits/ghosts. I grew up casting spells with dirt, sticks, random flowers, and leaves with the help of my ancestors guiding me along with my higher self/intuition. I’ve always kind of had a hand for this type of thing. I was astral projecting with my friends in elementary school for fun, casting spells to become a mermaid or vampire LOL. Later on, obviously communicating with spirits via an ouija board in middle school. Even practicing “weather and elemental magic-using the spirit of the elements to bend the elements. ” for example, me and my other “witchy” friend in 5th grade would try to move the clouds over the sun when we were outside during recess (for shade) or work with the wind and kind of flirt magically to ask it to blow consistently, but it’s more flowing with the energy than anything, and children have very pure energy and also a greater connection to source in my opinion, as well as they aren’t conditioned to believe magic, or having powers or even being able to be the next President or Movie star isn’t farfetched to them. They don’t question it. They feel something and believe it. I also vividly remember breathing underwater as a child. There’s MANYYY people that have felt like they had this same experience or had one where they “float” like a balloon. It’s insane. So, for as long as I can remember, I have always been a healer (I am indigenous) and very connected to my abilities; I also use tools and herbs to direct my abilities which is why I call myself a “witch.” Although I was raised in a conservative Southern Baptist Christian household, so these beliefs and practices were obviously shunned, and I kept a lot of it a secret until I became older. As for being a psychic medium, I had always had premonitions but didn’t have a word for that back then, but there was one situation which really really made me tap into my abilities more as well as learn to protect myself energetically and spiritually. To shorted the story, I basically got haunted as a little girl by a lower vibrational entity- some may call it a demon, others just a parasitic spirit. Regardless it posed as a younger girl that looked similar to me but with darker features: air/eyes. the typical ghostly-looking skin, but didn’t appear scary, it started with her scratching the walls when I was trying to go to sleep, then banging underneath my bed. It eventually escalated to scratched and throwing me OUT of my bed. We eventually got a priest in my house to rebuke the spirit and bless all of the rooms in my house, but it was me who had to learn how to banish the very spirit I probably summoned myself by being ignorant when I was younger with spells especially unprotected, which led to me learning how to banish my first spirit, cleanse, and protect myself and my space- along with taking my craft and my psychic abilities more seriously. This situation triggered the start of my first grimoire- or book of spells, along with me learning about how to tap more into my psychic abilities and learn how to manage them.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not; with where I grew up not being accepting of “psychics” and ESPECIALLY not “witches,” I felt I had to hide who I truly was; up until high school people started calling me a devil worshipper for or acting witchcraft, so I eventually stopped caring about everyone’s opinions all together-family included. I eventually started posting on a private account about my spell work and pyrokinesis, as well as psychic abilities in which I received a lot of good reactions. I started giving my friends a lot of channeled readings, then using tarot to divinate and giving anyone who wanted a reading one, as well, especially the doubters. Getting haunted was definitely a bump in the road as well, I was really scared of spirits after that and spellwork, and it took me about a year to dip my toe back into the water, and it took me two years to even step foot upstairs in my house to sleep in my bedroom, that’s how bad it scared me. More bumps in the road were messing up dramatically in MANY MANY SPELLS, but overall, it made me a better practioner.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My first business I started giving readings professionally 2 years ago, but I have been doing them for five years. I specialize in trauma-based readings (picking up on a lot of the deeper, heavier things an individual has been through or will go through), and relationships/love magick. I have been doing love magick for a while now, as well as I’m very strongly connected with my ancestors as they practiced the same workings. My second business would be LoveWitchCreations, and I started that back in May of 2022. I sell potions/spelloils, spell necklaces, spelljars, charms, herbs, ritual baths, enchanted lip-glosses, etc. Most people know me from the love and attraction spell video and in general being a love witch- being born on Valentine’s day, so it’s no big surprise three of my best sellers are the lust potion, love potion, and love spelljar. Most of my customers would say my formulas are amazing, these are some of the only witchy tools they’ve used, and seen results almost instantaneously. As well as I ship normally within two days and packaging is always impeccable and made with love and intention. I’m most proud of the community I’ve built honestly, they’re the coolest most accepting most diverse people ever, and I would’ve never expected something that I’ve always believed/ a huge part of my lifestyle would translate into becoming a part of my business. Initially, I always wanted a business, but I thought I would only be selling cosmetics.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was really shy until high school. I always loved books and learning though, I had almost a photographic memory and when I read books, I felt like I could live in them. I was a nerd for sure, A honor roll, Science Fair Winner, on the Bowling Team, honors/academically gifted. I was studying three languages as well as different religions and mythologies when I was in 4th grade. I started the anime club in my middle school and was definitely the girl who had already finished her work and was drawing some anime girls in the back of class with my weird friends. I was bullied a lot and walked all over until high school I reclaimed my power back and became really really popular and “insta famous.” Later on, like in 2021, I started posting on TikTok and ended up blowing up on there too- with one of my first videos getting 3 million views.
