Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Banks

Hi Tiffany, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started as an intuitive healer (Reiki, Archangelic Light) and medium in 2017. I have always had intuitive gifts since I was a child, however, due to my religious upbringing I kept it low key. My gifts were seen as paranoia or exaggeration within my household. For many years I kept my intuitive gifts to myself. Fast forward to graduate school in 2009 when my instructor mentioned Reiki and meditation and suggested this CD to listen to. Little did I know that purchasing that CD was my soul giving me a precursor as to what I would be doing in the future. In 2015/16 I started to become interested in chakras and spiritual expansion. Then in 2017 I had my first Reiki session, first Reiki meetup and then class to become a Reiki practitioner.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Personally, my life became undone, but it was necessary. I left my job of 5 years, went through separation and divorce, and really had no choice but to dive in deep with inner healing. Note that healing is a continuous journey, however, I had to really work through the heavy stuff that could no longer be avoided. But the biggest thing was believing in my gifts and being vulnerable enough to put myself out there. I don’t think people realize how intimidating it can be as an intuitive healer and medium to share your gifts with the world when there are those who view you and what you do as evil or wrong. But it’s more empowering to trust yourself and receive confirmation from clients that you have helped them in their life’s healing journey.

As you know, we’re big fans of Tiffany Heals, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business provides intuitive healing services via Reiki, Archangelic Light, spiritual consultations, and mediumship. Reiki and Archangelic light are energetic healing modalities that can be administered in-person or at a distance. I am more so known for my mediumship sessions. What sets me apart is not only my ability to collaborate with spirit (Archangels, guides, ancestors, animals/pets, and plants), but my background in psychology and counseling assists with how I communicate with the clients. I am most proud of upholding ethics in this work that I do. Quick story: I once administered distant Reiki on a close friend’s mother who had to have an emergency surgery. I picked up that due to a mishap on the medical part, her mother had flatlined. I asked my friend to double check with the medical team and sure enough her mother had flatlined. So, me administering distant Reiki gave some assistance in ensuring that she was ok.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Most people who know me/my brand know that I am an educator. What many don’t know is that I initially wanted to become a DMT (dance movement therapist) but opted out. However, I am a big proponent of the creative art therapies (equestrian, music, DMT, art, etc.).
