Hi Ty , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started working for a roofing company called shake savers. I then began to sub contract work from other home improvement companies eventually I taught myself how to build a website and started Handyman Plus in Wilson NC.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It was a fun and exciting experience learning as I go. I learned from mistake, made adjustments and now I have a handle on the do’s and don’ts.

We specialize in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring installation and more. With over 25 years of experience we have all the right tools, equipment and knowledge to complete just about any home improvement or repair project.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
People skills, Communication is key. Experience in home improvement, got to wear many hats to survive in the handyman business.
