Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Monique Rodgers.
Hi Dr. Rodgers, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Yes, I started as a young girl in the projects. I grew up in a single-parent home struggling with nothing. We were on welfare and food stamps. We were in and out of shelters and we suffered.
I was determined to go after my dream of being a writer. I would write paper books in class and sell them at school for 25 cents. I did so well at this, those teachers and students were buying my books.
I knew at that point I was called to write books and that I was a literary genius that would help a lot of people one day. I was multi-gifted in English and in writing. I also realized that writing books came easily for me and that I could write in short periods of time. In 2019, I wrote the book Falling in Love with Jesus, it landed me my first appearance on television which opened the door for me to become a TV host.
In 2020, I wrote Speak, Reach, and Inspire, and in 2021, the book Accelerate was birthed out and has become an international bestseller. I ended up starting to Accelerate Your Life Coaching which allowed me the opportunity to train leaders for success.
In 2022, I became the visionary of Called to Intercede which allowed me to help over one hundred authors to write in our anthologies in seven volumes, we became Amazon’s number one bestsellers. I now am the CEO of my own writing and publishing company called WriteOn LLC and Shooting Stars Publishing House.
I aspire to reach and help as many people as I can to become successful writers and authors.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a challenging time in my life, and I faced numerous challenges I have overcome.
