Today we’d like to introduce you to Hadley McDaniel.

Hi Hadley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Back in 2019 when I was like 21 I started making shirts for my buddies in my unit and everyone really liked them so I kept doing it. After awhile I was like I should just do this for real. So obviously I was an E-4 in the army so I was shit no one is doing anything with “E-4 MAFIA” so I trademarked that and had a website built and started doing my social media and have been steadily building ever since. I had a couple friends in my unit who said they wanted to help get it up and going but that never happened so I ended up just doing it all myself. I have been banned on my MAFIA accounts a few times so that killed momentum a lot but I’ve rebuilt and I’m at like 113k on instagram now. I did some YouTube skits back in the day too blowing shit up with tannerite with some of my battles. It’s been hard work and long days and nights enjoyed every second of it and I live for and love everyone who follows the MAFIA. The whole reason I started it was to raise morale. I was struggling a lot when I started it and it helped me because I knew I was keeping other smiling

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I was national guard so I was also working nights at a cement plant full time. Posting and making designs at work. Not only all that I had a kid at 23 when MAFIA stuff started poppin off. there was a lot to juggle but it gave me purpose.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
E-4 MAFIA — made for shitbags, by shitbags. patches, flags, shirts, hats, and pins with the kind of humor that actually gets said in real life, not the watered-down “thank you for your service” crap civilians think we want. If it doesn’t make you laugh or say “oh what the fuck” then we didn’t make it!
Just morale, memes, and gear for people who’ve actually been there. 300K+ following it across TikTok, IG, and Facebook because it’s the real thing, not a brand trying to like all these other vet bro brands

What were you like growing up?
I was very involved in school and sports. I wrestled though out high school, football, believe it or not I did band choir and the school musical lol. I also liked hunting, shooting, four wheeling, I grew up on a ranch so I rode horses worked cows had animals and chores to take care of. I also drank a lot in high school which didn’t slow down in the army.. I was pretty small growing up so I had to be tough, I had a big mouth and smart mouth so I was also quick with it.
