Hidden Gems: Meet Jahmir Hamilton of IX Studio , MetaNexus — Creating RoMarketplace (Soon to be WarpDrive)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jahmir Hamilton

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I began my journey in tech as a hacker at just nine years old, experimenting with exploits on my Roblox accounts and developing scripts to automate leveling, which I later sold. This early dive into coding and automation sparked my passion for digital systems. Over time, I transitioned into community management, but I quickly realized that working under someone else wasn’t for me—I had a much bigger vision.

Determined to carve my own path, I founded IX Studio. The decision to build my own company became even more significant when I became a father; my drive to succeed was no longer just ambition—it was a necessity. IX Studio was born after I developed my first game, encouraged by my dad, who always pushed me to think bigger. At the time, I never imagined it would grow into what it is today, but with relentless effort and vision, it has evolved into something far greater than I ever expected.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not, from multiple failed acquisitions, to passionate projects never seeing the light, to even managing my responsibilities as a student, fiance and father along with my CEO position, it has not been easy!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
IX Studio is a rapidly growing game development and live operations company specializing in creating, managing, and scaling successful games, particularly within the Roblox ecosystem. Founded by Jahmir Hamilton, IX Studio has built a reputation for innovation, efficiency, and strategic growth, managing over 25+ metaverse projects and reaching 70 million monthly active users across its portfolio.

MetaNexus exists to bridge these gaps, offering a structured approach to UGC ownership, game development, and digital asset transferability. We recognize that the metaverse is not limited to one platform but rather consists of a multitude of ecosystems—Roblox, Fortnite Creative, Minecraft Marketplace, Web3 NFT platforms, Patreon, Twitch, and more. By collectivizing these spaces and creating a unified understanding of the metaverse, we enable users, developers, and brands to participate in a clearer, more valuable digital landscape.
MetaNexus’ mission is to:
Define and standardize digital asset ownership across various platforms, ensuring that creators and users can confidently buy, sell, and transfer their assets.
Expand the economic potential of UGC through partnerships, infrastructure, and new monetization models.
Integrate mainstream audiences into the metaverse without requiring them to be creators, allowing them to participate as engaged consumers across multiple platforms.
Enhance game development within the metaverse, leveraging IX Studio’s expertise to push boundaries in UGC gaming and immersive experiences.

RoMarketplace was created to streamline the ownership and transfer of digital assets in the metaverse, addressing the growing demand for digital goods across platforms like Roblox, Fortnite Creative, and other UGC-driven environments. By providing a centralized marketplace, it aims to give creators, developers, and players a transparent, efficient, and secure way to manage their virtual assets.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I actually used to be a Mural Artist and I play electric guitar in my free time.
