Today we’d like to introduce you to Ki’Saundra Drye.
Hi Ki’Saundra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I first became a Notary in 2022, it was just something to do. After joining different Notary groups on social media I learned that I could be more than just a Notary. I became a Loan Signing Agent, my own boss, the Notary Queen.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
A struggle that I came across was finding consistency in clients. I overcame this by offering more than Notary Public services and meeting people on social media.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a Loan Signing Agent. This means that I am a Notary Public that has been trained to handle loan documents and general notary forms. Outside of notary work I do fingerprints, fill out I-9 verification forms, a Field Inspector, a Proctor, Apostille, and I am ordained to perform marriage ceremonies.
The thing that I love the most about what I do is meeting new people.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
My husband, Jerrod Sr., and my six beautiful children, Brittney, Ivan, Kishayla, Jerrod Jr., Jaedin, Jordan, and my grandchild Kaitlyn played a big part in me starting my business. They have supported me mentally, physically, and financially. My daughter, Brittney, always made sure I stayed on track and focused. She even took the initial Notary Public class with me. Another important person is my mom and my angel, Carolyn. Even though she is not with me physically I still hear her voice telling me great job and you can do it.
Most importantly God. He is the real business owner. I am so grateful that He gave me this opportunity to become a steward and co-owner of His business Notary Queen.
