Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Grady.

Hi Michelle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My name is Michelle Grady, I am a California Native, Born and Breed in the cultured and eclectic city of Oakland. I started my business because I was so frustrated with my weight loss journey, (which I am currently still on). I reached a point where I was the biggest I have ever been. It was all a result of just life happening to me. Bouts of depression, hormonal imbalances which contributed to my weight gain heavily, and a host of other factors. I felt like I tried everything. The biggest problems I had were real motivators and wrapping my mind around working out, eating better, etc.

I was on a start-stop journey because I didn’t see any real results fast enough to make it seem worth it and I also learned that I was afraid of losing weight. I know it sounds silly but I am sure women all around the world can understand that all attention isn’t good attention especially when you have some unhealed places of trauma. This frustration prompted me to look for other alternatives to assist me on my journey. One of the moments I found most enlightening was getting my nose pierced a couple of months back.

It was something so small but it gave me a sense of confidence and made me want to work on myself a little more because I hadn’t felt that way in a long time. I joined a gym and fell in love with working out. I may be a little addicted to it now. Then, I stumbled upon body contouring. I was just going to purchase a machine for myself but this newfound confidence had me wanting to share it with other women.

I just wanted to empower others the way I have felt empowered by using my own self-discoveries. I found something that motivated me to keep working at it because I saw immediate visible results! It didn’t replace my hard work, but it enhanced and accelerated my process.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all. Everything that could happen has happened. Money suddenly looked funny after committing to my business. Some friends showed their true colors and you can’t have success without haters, right?

However, just as everything got crazy, I have been extremely blessed in this process. God always shows up and shows out when you commit your life and business to Him. He’s the best business partner to ever have.
