Today we’d like to introduce you to Pamela Grant.
Hi Pamela, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been creative at heart.
Starting at a young age, I used to sketch out different clothing and home interior designs. I always had dreams of being either a fashion designer or an interior designer. Neither of those dreams has yet to come true. But, I did have someone turn one of my dress designs into a prom dress.
As I grew older, I turned my creative mind from analog to digital. In came the world of MySpace. I’m sure we all thought we were trained coders back in that day. Even back then I would have others message me asking to edit photos for their pages after seeing an edit that I created. Creating has always been second nature to me. I’ve always enjoyed turning nothing into something.
Over the years I’ve continued to flex my creative muscle by continuously expressing myself via posts on social media; mostly Instagram. By consistently showing up for myself and showcasing my talents, I landed my first role as a content creator / social media manager for a brand called OURS by Blackjoy. This brand saw what I was doing online via my Instagram page and approached me with a job offer. At that time I never considered creating content as a “job.” Even now, it doesn’t feel like work which makes things even better. Over the past six-plus years I have assisted several small owned businesses and individuals with their brand aesthetic, creating content, managing their social media, and a host of other services.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Just like any creative, at times I’ve hit a roadblock where it felt impossible to create anything. Even though for the most part things have come naturally to me, it has also been a lot of trial and error. A lot of time and money was spent working towards the level that I am at today.
I will never claim to know everything or to be better than the next. But one thing I will say is that others may use my recipe but they’ll never have my sauce. One thing I love about my creative journey is that I am forever a student. Constantly growing and perfecting my craft.
As I grow and learn, I’ve stepped into the role of teaching others how to level up their online presence and discover their secret sauce. In hopes of saving someone else from all the countless errors I made and the money I lost.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Pamela Reneé?
The Pamela Reneé is my brand in which I manage my client’s social media and content creation. I am a digital content strategist & social media manager. I specialize in helping fempreneurs discover their secret sauce and level up their online presence.
As someone who’s pivoted their Instagram page from being personal to one that I make money off of, I have taken those lessons learned and skills attained and created The Branding Blueprint. The Branding Blueprint is a one-on-one intensive session in which I teach others who to evaluate, enhance and execute their social media branding presence. When I created this intensive session I was nervous that others wouldn’t be interested. I told myself “if I help only one person then I will be happy.” Since the birth of this session, I have helped over ten individuals level up their branding presence. And for that, I am most proud.
Aside from The Branding Blueprint, I also offer several other services. Those being:
– Social Media Management
– Brandstorm Calls
– Engagement Strategy Calls
– Digital Media Kits
– Content Creation / Social Media Assets
– Social Media Campaigns
I invest a lot of time into my clients and the growth of their brands. At times I tend to over-deliver but that’s simply because I want to make sure each client gets the most bang for their buck!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Although I live in Charleston, SC I visit Raleigh several times a year. It’s a nice getaway for me. My favorite being the Getaway cabins just on the outskirt of Raleigh. I love the fact that Raleigh is a growing city but it isn’t too big to where I feel overwhelmed each time I visit. There’s always something new that I discover to do. Either an event, winery, brewery, restaurant, etc.
Pricing:
- Strategy Calls starting at $397
