Today we’d like to introduce you to Raymond Holloway.
Hi Raymond, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Growing and loving plants has always been a part of my life due to my grandmother always having a lavish plant room in her home. From there, I’ve always had some sort of plant as well. When Virginia legalized the growing of Cannabis in the home, the service of helping others who don’t have green thumps, physically can’t, or just don’t have the time and skill made sense to me because this was a skill bred in me from the beginning. I took the course at THC University online and started my company along with my brother Jayleen Holloway. It’s a dream come true to be able to travel and grow for others and provide a product that them and their friends enjoy.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, it’s been pretty smooth, but in business, you always have bumps. The biggest struggle in this business is getting Bud Ezz (clients) to service. Because our business is brand new, no one has heard of us; no one even knows there’s a service out there like this. We have to put ourselves out there more, and with that, you have those who think we sell Cannabis or products. Also, trying to create a team to get this company off the ground is a hassle because no one wants to work without return, but without clients, there are no returns. How do we make it work. We get better ourselves until we get enough clients, then can outsource work such as social media, marketing, and work itself
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us a bit more about your business.
We maintain the life and growth of your plants and the environment they grow in. Establishing the best atmosphere possible under your indoor living conditions through the seedling, vegetative, and harvesting stages.
We are very proud in the products we provide through growth and that our clients can just sit back for the duration of growth then enjoy.
For the readers, we want them to understand how much better it is to grow in home vs the dangers of acquiring from an unknown source. With us, you will know what strain you have, what percentage it is, what the effects are, and one of the best part is how fresh it will be. We dry and cure all our harvest in our cool cure system call Cannatrol.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
“First to the key” (ready player one) Due to our business being the first, it’s a risk in itself, especially when dealing with Cannabis. Rules and regulations set by the state that aren’t even set yet. Of course, financial risk of starting a company all out of pocket. We run the risk of people thinking we carry Cannabis around and may want to take it. We run the risk of police thinking the same and want to stop us to check. There are risk that when the plants are in home with one of our Bud Ezz that they may do something wrong and destroy the plants. (That’s happened) The worst part about that is you want to have a good reputation with everyone, so as a company, we overcompensate for those situations. The risk in growing can occur as well. Plants get sick, mold, spider mites, etc. We haven’t had those issues, but they are risk we have to think about and prepare for.
