Today we’d like to introduce you to Tandra Garner.
Hi Tandra, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been a nurse for over 25 years, with most of my career focused on health promotion and education. I’ve always believed that health isn’t just about treating illness—it’s about teaching people how to live well.
But even with all that knowledge, I hit a wall in my own life. Around midlife, I found myself struggling with chronic fatigue, mood swings, brain fog, belly fat, and a metabolic syndrome diagnosis. I tried everything—fasting, working with a trainer, even going vegan—but nothing truly worked. I still didn’t feel like myself.
That experience pushed me to shift from managing symptoms to actually healing from the inside out. I started focusing on blood sugar stability, hormone-friendly habits, and realistic lifestyle changes. As I began to feel better—lighter, stronger, clearer—I knew I had to help other women do the same.
Now, I coach women in midlife who are ready to reset their habits, rebuild their energy, and rise into the healthiest version of themselves.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not a smooth road—but the hard parts became the most meaningful.
I’ve walked through burnout, grief, hormonal chaos, and years of putting everyone else first while slowly losing myself in the process. The physical challenges were tough, but the emotional ones were even harder.
One of the biggest turning points was the loss of my father—it shook me to my core. I had to learn how to keep moving forward while honoring my grief, staying grounded in my purpose, and still showing up to support others.
Stepping away from a full-time nursing job to build something of my own was scary too. But I knew I was being called to create something bigger—something that would help other women feel seen, supported, and strong again. That calling is what keeps me going.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Today, I’m a wellness coach and educator based in Morehead City, North Carolina. I work primarily with midlife women- across the U.S. and beyond- who are ready to take back control of their health.
I coach my clients through simple, realistic shifts in how they eat, move, rest, and live. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress. I help them reconnect with their body, balance their energy, and create habits that actually stick.
I also created a lifestyle-focused course called Reset & Rise—a program designed to help women understand what’s happening in their bodies during midlife and how to make lasting changes without overwhelm.
My mission is to help women feel strong, clear, and confident again—without extremes.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is helping women remember who they are.
Midlife can feel like a breakdown—but I believe it’s really a breakthrough. So many women feel lost in this season, like their body has betrayed them or they’re running on empty. I want them to know it’s not too late. They don’t need to start over—they just need to start differently.
Helping women rise—physically, mentally, and emotionally—is the most fulfilling work I’ve ever done. I don’t just teach wellness. I teach women how to come home to themselves.
