Today we’d like to introduce you to Amy Campbell.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
For more than a decade, our family has cherished this beautiful piece of land. Over the years, it’s been the backdrop for countless memories—weddings by the pond, birthday celebrations, and special gatherings filled with laughter and love. Each event made me realize what a truly special place this was and how wonderful it would be to share it with others in our community.
What started as a simple dream slowly grew into a vision for something more. I met an incredible event planner, Amy McGraw, who shared my heart for creating meaningful celebrations, and with her help—and the design talent of my friend, Thomas Ard—we brought that vision to life. Two years later, our beautiful English-inspired venue stood ready to welcome couples, families, and friends to make their own memories here.
It’s been a journey built on faith, friendship, and a love for bringing people together. Every time I see a bride walk through our doors or hear music drift across the property, I’m reminded why we started—because special moments deserve a beautiful place to happen.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes, overall things have gone very smoothly. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to have strong support from our family and friends every step of the way. Having a great contractor made all the difference too—someone who truly cared about the details and helped bring our vision to life. Of course, there have been long days and big decisions, but looking back, everything has come together even better than we imagined.

We’ve been impressed with Campbelton Grove, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Campbelton Grove, we’re all about creating unforgettable moments in a setting that feels both elegant and welcoming. We specialize in weddings and celebrations that blend classic beauty with a touch of Southern charm—where guests feel relaxed, loved, and surrounded by natural beauty. From the moment someone drives through our brick columns to the last sparkler send-off, we want every detail to feel thoughtful and intentional.
What truly sets us apart is the experience we offer. We don’t just hand over a space—we walk alongside our couples and clients to help bring their vision to life. Whether it’s helping with layout ideas, coordinating vendors, or simply offering reassurance on a big day, we take pride in the personal connection we build with each family.
I’m most proud that our brand reflects genuine care and hospitality. Every part of the venue, from the architecture to the landscaping, was designed to feel timeless and full of character and charm. We want people to know that when they celebrate here, they’re not just booking a venue—they’re creating memories in a place that was built with love, faith, and family at its foundation.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a quiet and shy kid who grew up in a loving Christian home with parents who worked hard and taught me to do the same. They showed me the importance of treating others with kindness, respect, and grace—values that still guide me today.
Even as a child, I had a love for design and creativity. I took an interior design class in high school and dreamed about creating beautiful spaces, though I wasn’t sure if that could be a career in our small town. So, I followed another passion—caring for others—and became a registered nurse. I spent my early career in labor and delivery and later worked with first-time moms, helping them build healthy, happy lives with their babies.
Looking back, every step—whether in nursing or design—has been about nurturing and creating something meaningful, which is exactly what led me to where I am today.
