Inspiring Conversations with Brianna Tate of Better Taste By Bri

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Tate.

Brianna Tate

Hi Brianna, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Hi, I am a former student of Johnson and Wales University, which is where I started to expand my knowledge. I got started by selling plates to family friends and Facebook friends after school. Eventually, once people started to taste my food word of mouth begin to do the job for me. I ended up booking catering events for family, and then I started to randomly gain clients!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been an easy journey by far, but anything God gives you as a gift will make room for you. The biggest struggle was doubt and unbelief that I was capable to things on a large scale. That is definitely a trick of the enemy to knock you off course.

We’ve been impressed with Better Taste By Bri, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Better Taste by Bri is a Southern Style Catering Company. We are committed to giving you the best experience to pair with the food that simply tastes better! We are known for our signature FRIED RIBS. We like to be set apart by our customer service and connection to our customers. I am most proud of our evolution. Give us a try; you won’t regret it.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My Mother, Grandmother, Cousins, etc. They have stepped in many times to help me prep, serve, set up, clean up, etc.

Most importantly, Ray Harper of Ohop Apparel. I was very first given the idea to step out on faith and my talent by him. I am eternally grateful for that and for him.
