Bryce Batts’ professional journey began with a strong passion for helping and encouraging people and a desire to make a positive impact on organizations and individuals. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business management, Bryce entered the corporate world as a recruiter at a Florida-based company. 

In this initial role, Bryce gained valuable exposure to various HR functions, including recruitment, talent acquisition, and account management. Recognizing the critical importance of finding the right individuals to fuel an organization’s success, Bryce developed a keen interest in talent acquisition and made it a focal point of professional growth. 

Seeking to refine her skills and expand her knowledge, Bryce pursued an MBA and then a Coaching Certification. This commitment to continuous learning allowed Bryce to stay at the forefront of a rapidly evolving recruiting landscape. 

Bryce’s dedication and expertise allowed her to be on of the top two recruiters at the Florida-based firm she worked at. 

Driven by a desire to widen her impact, Bryce joined forces with another top recruiter and opened Career Collective, a Raleigh-based AEC Recruitment firm. 

Through diligent and effective work, Career Collective quickly established a track record of success, consistently surpassing client expectations and placing highly qualified candidates. 

Today, Bryce Batts continues to thrive as a respected and accomplished recruiter, career coach, and entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur is often likened to a rollercoaster ride, and Bryce Batts’ experience perfectly embodies this analogy. After owning and operating a clothing store, Bryce made the difficult decision to close it down. However, rather than succumbing to setbacks, Bryce’s entrepreneurial spirit continued to burn brightly. 

Recognizing the importance of the first few years in building a solid foundation for a successful venture, Bryce decided to return to their roots in recruitment. Drawing upon her previous experience and expertise, Bryce re-entered the field with renewed enthusiasm and determination. 

With an acute understanding of the pivotal role played by staffing agencies in an organization’s success, Bryce seized the opportunity to establish her own recruitment agency – Career Collective. 

The early years of any entrepreneurial endeavor are critical, as they require diligence, perseverance, and a commitment to learning and growth. Bryce embraced this challenge wholeheartedly, pouring her energy into building Career Collective from the ground up.

Credit is due to my business partner, Edwin Powali, for encouraging me to move forward with partnering and launching the business.
