Hi Chandra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Chandra Botanicals was founded in 2014 with the intention of creating connections between plants and people. Our relationship with the natural world can create a ripple effect of so many beautiful happenings, and our goal is to hold space for that healing to occur. Through many years of research, personal experiences, and teachers of all kinds, we offer many different services, including herbalist & custom herbal preparations, consulting, private chef, and birth support. We currently have a small retail space located in Atlantic Beach and are based in the Durham area.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing any business can be challenging, and our main objective is to be of service to our community, and that remains the foundation of our business today.
We’ve been impressed with Chandra Botanicals, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We focus on providing unique and nourishing experiences to all our clients and guests who visit us in our retail space. We create lifelong connections to nature through food, workshops, events, and our product creation. We are an Ocean Friendly Certified Establishment and prioritize sustainability in all our ventures. Our private chef offerings and herbal services are unique in that we grow and harvest many herbs and ingredients we use and partner with local farms and producers all over the state and country.
