Inspiring Conversations with Christelle Wilson of La Belle Vie Creations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christelle Wilson.

Hi Christelle , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Where should i start, Hmmm
My journey started with a passion for helping people feel confident and cared for through hair. What began as simply loving beauty eventually evolved into something much deeper — understanding the connection between hair, identity, wellness, and self-confidence.

I started my career behind the chair, learning the beauty industry from the ground up and working closely with clients from all walks of life. Over the years, I realized I wasn’t just passionate about styling hair — I was passionate about healthy hair, scalp care, and education. That led me to expand my knowledge by becoming a cosmetology educator and studying trichology, which focuses on the science of hair and scalp health.

As my vision grew, I found that La Belle Vie Creations, (The name of my business for those that dont know) was better of focusing on personalized haircare experiences, education, and wellness-centered beauty, really Crown Care brand. I wanted to create an environment where clients felt seen, heard, and empowered — not rushed through a service.

Today, my work extends beyond the salon. I’ve stepped into product development with our signature La Belle Naturél Hair & Scalp Oil, Shampoo and Conditioner, I’m still working on perfecting the leave-In conditioner, but its coming. Also mentorship, coaching, consulting and education for beauty professionals, and content platforms like my podcast, Love Life After, where I share conversations about growth, healing, entrepreneurship, and becoming the best version of yourself.

The journey definitely hasn’t been linear, but every season — the challenges, transitions, rebuilding, and growth — has helped shape both the woman and entrepreneur I am today. And honestly, I still feel like I’m evolving and unlearning every day.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but I’ve learned that growth often comes from the difficult seasons.
Like many entrepreneurs, I started by doing everything myself. I was the stylist, the marketer, the educator, the customer service representative, and the business owner all at once. One of the biggest struggles was learning that I couldn’t build something sustainable alone. I had to learn the importance of systems, delegation, and building the right team.

There were also moments of uncertainty and transition — rebuilding, adapting to new environments, balancing personal life with business responsibilities, and navigating the emotional side of entrepreneurship. People often see the finished product, but they don’t always see the long hours, sacrifices, and patience it takes behind the scenes.

Another challenge was learning how to shift from simply being talented at my craft to truly operating as a CEO. That required me to grow in areas like leadership, financial literacy, structure, branding, and time management. I’m still learning every day.
But through every obstacle, I’ve gained resilience, wisdom, and clarity. The struggles taught me how important it is to stay grounded, continue learning, and trust the process even when things don’t move as quickly as you hope.

Looking back, I’m grateful for every season because each one helped shape both my business and my character.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
La Belle Vie Creations is a Crown Care and wellness brand focused on healthy hair, scalp care, education, and confidence-building experiences. What started as a salon business has evolved into a multifaceted brand centered around beauty, wellness, and personal empowerment.

We specialize in healthy hair and scalp restoration, personalized haircare regimens, and education-driven services designed to help clients achieve long-term results rather than temporary fixes.
As a licensed cosmetologist, cosmetology educator, and trichology specialist, I approach haircare from both a beauty and science perspective, which allows me to create customized experiences based on each client’s individual needs.

What many people know us for is the level of intentional care and education we provide. Clients aren’t simply receiving a service — they’re learning about their hair, scalp health, maintenance, and how to properly care for themselves beyond the salon chair. Creating a relaxing and empowering experience has always been at the heart of the brand.

In addition to salon services, we’ve expanded into product development with our signature La Belle Naturél Hair & Scalp Oil, designed to nourish the scalp, support healthy growth, and promote overall hair wellness using high-quality ingredients. As well as our shampoo and conditioner.

I’m also proud to offer mentorship, coaching, and consulting for beauty professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to elevate their client experience, strengthen their business foundation, and grow with more structure and intention. Education has always been a major part of my purpose, so being able to pour into others while continuing to grow my own brand is something I value deeply.

Beyond beauty, I also host the podcast Love Life After, where I share conversations surrounding growth, healing, faith, entrepreneurship, and becoming the best version of yourself.

Everything connected to my brand reflects the same mission: helping people build confidence from the inside out.

What sets La Belle Vie Creations apart is that we combine Relaxing, luxury, education, wellness, and genuine care into one experience. We believe beauty should feel intentional, healing, and empowering — not rushed or surface-level. Luxury to me is being able to care for yourself because ot too many people get to do that.

What I’m most proud of brand-wise is that we’ve built something rooted in purpose. Every service, product, educational experience, and conversation is designed to make people feel seen, valued, educated, and confident in who they are.

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Honestly, I believe entrepreneurship itself is a risk. The moment you decide to build something from your vision, invest in yourself, and step into uncertainty without guaranteed outcomes, you’ve already become a risk-taker.

For me, risk has never been about being reckless — it’s about being willing to move forward even when things aren’t perfectly figured out.

One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was betting on myself and building La Belle Vie Creations beyond just being “behind the chair.” Expanding into education, product development, mentorship, consulting, and leadership required me to step outside of what was comfortable and familiar. There were moments where I had to make major decisions without knowing exactly how everything would unfold, but I trusted the vision enough to keep going.

I’ve also taken risks through transition and rebuilding — relocating, expanding my business model, investing into my education, developing products, and creating opportunities even during uncertain seasons. Those moments can feel scary because entrepreneurship comes with financial pressure, emotional pressure, and a lot of responsibility. Oh, even writing my book. That was a risk I didn’t know i can do.
Everything we do in life in some form or fashion is a risk.

But I’ve learned that growth usually lives on the other side of discomfort.

At the same time, I believe in strategic risk-taking. I don’t think every risk should be impulsive. I think it’s important to do your research, prepare, stay adaptable, and move with intention. Faith is important to me, but so is wisdom and structure.

Some risks worked exactly how I hoped, and others became learning lessons — but every experience helped me grow stronger, wiser, and more confident as both a woman and a business owner.

I think risk is necessary if you want to evolve. Staying comfortable may feel safe, but it can also keep you from reaching your full potential.
