Hi Darian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My journey has been a dynamic blend of academia, sports, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to community. Starting with my time at St Andrews University, where I not only honed my skills on the basketball court but also found my passion for coaching. My dual educational journey led me to graduate with a degree in English and a master’s in business, the latter igniting the spark of entrepreneurship within me. 

In collaboration with my lifelong friend and business partner, Jeremy Jeffers, I ventured into creating Wilson’s first multi-sports training facility in 2018. This entrepreneurial leap paved the way for me to explore the realm of real estate. Since becoming a realtor/broker in 2021, I’ve been dedicated to working closely with investors, driven by a genuine passion for unlocking financial and time freedom through real estate. 

Beyond the business realm, I’m a family man, proud husband to Shana CaHill, and a devoted father who penned a children’s book titled ‘Dad Can I Be.’ This book is an empowering message to my daughters, Ava and Harper, encouraging them to dream big and believe in their limitless potential. 

My commitment to relentless perseverance during challenges is deeply rooted in my faith in God. It’s this unwavering belief that fuels my work as a realtor, entrepreneur and advocate for empowering the dreams of others. In essence, my story is one of passion, entrepreneurship, family values, and a firm belief in the power of faith. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to where I am today has certainly been marked by challenges, each presenting an opportunity for learning and resilience. The onset of the Covid pandemic posed a significant obstacle, but our multi-sports training facility not only weathered the storm but thrived, thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible community. 

Entering the real estate arena brought its own set of challenges. The market is saturated with agents, demanding a unique blend of relentlessness and true faith to stand out. Despite the competition, I’ve embraced the belief that with determination and unwavering faith, success is not just achievable but inevitable. 

Balancing the demands of parenting and marriage is a constant journey. However, I’m fortunate to have a strong network of friends with whom I share candid conversations about the complexities of marriage and parenting. This supportive group serves as a therapeutic outlet, aiding my personal growth in these areas. The challenges have been numerous, but they’ve served as steppingstones for personal and professional development, shaping the narrative of my journey.

At the heart of my operation is a commitment to excellence and a multifaceted approach that mirrors the diverse experiences that shape my journey. Specializing in both real estate and sports training, I’ve carved a distinctive niche in Wilson, NC. 

As a realtor/broker, my focus extends beyond transactions; I’m deeply immersed in working with investors, driven by a passion for unlocking financial and time freedom through strategic real estate endeavors. What sets me apart in the competitive real estate landscape is not just my transactions but the meaningful impact I create for investors and families alike. It’s the relentless dedication to my clients, coupled with a genuine belief in the transformative power of real estate, that defines my brand. 

My journey began with the co-creation of Wilson’s first multi-sports training facility, a testament to my entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to fostering community engagement. Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I owe a debt of gratitude to a remarkable network that has played a pivotal role in my success. Foremost, my family has been an unwavering pillar of support, providing encouragement and understanding through every twist and turn. The community, with its boundless support during challenging times, has been instrumental in overcoming obstacles. 

The Chesson Agency stands out as a crucial partner, offering guidance and expertise in the dynamic real estate landscape. Their collaborative spirit has been a catalyst for growth and success in my ventures. 

However, at the forefront of my appreciation is my wife. As an entrepreneur, there’s truly no greater feeling than having your spouse firmly behind you. Her unwavering support not only helps navigate the challenges but also serves as a driving force, making the entrepreneurial journey a shared endeavor. Her belief in my vision often provides all the help needed to conquer hurdles and celebrate triumphs.
