Today we’d like to introduce you to Jameka Ramnath
Hi JaMeka, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am a mom and wife who enjoys designing, traveling and creating content. In 2015 I started a family travel and lifestyle blog, Got The Travel Bug Too which was later rebranded as Ramnaths Away. The blog allowed us to travel and collaborate with tourism boards, hospitality and lifestyle brands.
Traveling the world inspired a lot of creativity for me. I really enjoy experiences that involve history, art and culture and I try my best to incorporate it into my new business, House Of Ramnath. It’s on Etsy, but I have plans to create a website for it as well.
House of Ramnath provides thoughtfully created products from time saving digital planners to cute handbag and cup accessories.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. E-commerce is a very competitive market especially when selling on the Etsy platform. I’ve experimented with selling stickers, greeting cards, bookmarks, handbags and wallets. Eventually it lead me to the digital product and women’s accessories that House of Ramnath offers today.

I enjoy sharing my passion for creating fun and uplifting products that will brighten someone’s day and make their life easier. When I create a product, I always do it with my customers in mind. How can this product inspire them? What can I do to make it a good experience?
I am most proud of the quality products and customer service that I provide because I want my customers to have an amazing experience. I also find value in their feedback and many have reached out with great ideas for new products they’ve asked me to develop.
How do you think about happiness?
My family because they have been extremely supportive of me on my business journey and often help out. I love to travel because it sparks inspiration from my experiences around the world. I also love super cute things! I love pink, florals, bows – I’ve always been girly at heart!
