Today we’d like to introduce you to La’Toya Chambers.
Hi La’Toya , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Salisbury, NC. Growing up I
participated in several community events , sports , committees and ministries in
church. I was taught to always protect my character and never compromise
my spirituality. I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
and the North Carolina School of Insurance and is a mother of two amazing sons.
I have always heard the soft whisper in my spirit that I was created with a
purpose uniquely designed just for me and one day I would be walking in that
purpose.
While working as an Insurance agent/Insurance Coach for over 20years helping
people protect what they have worked hard for, I also was experiencing several
personal encounters with people of different backgrounds with different life
struggles. People gravitated to me and openly shared these life struggles. The call
for me to encourage, motivate, uplift and mentor people daily was consistent . At
that point the soft whisper in my spirit became louder and louder and I
discovered my calling as a “Life Coach” which allows me to serve my purpose.
In 2019, I boldly leveled up and became the owner and founder of YOU
are… Life Coaching where I find joy in planting positive seeds into my client’s
lives so that they can experience the fullness of who they are and walk
confidently in who they evolve into.
One of my favorite quotes are , “ Serving purpose helps you realize why you exist” and now
that is how I came to realize that I don’t just live to exist,I live to SERVE PURPOSE.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I don’t believe there are ever smooth roads when it comes to entrepreneurship or serving in your purpose. I initially questioned my capabilities, commitment and business knowledge to be successful. I also struggled with the process it takes to feel established within my business and if I had all of the tools needed.

YOU are…..Life Coaching is about Knowing who you are, Embracing who you are, Loving who you are, and Evolving into who you are and desire to be. I coach in person and virtual sessions with individuals, youth and couples that need help getting unstuck in trying to reach their goals or making changes in their lives. I am their voice of reason, confidant, and cheerleader that helps you with action plans and hold you accountable for meeting their goals and making the necessary adjustments and changes in their lives. I love what I do and I enjoy seeing my clients soar!
How do you define success?
I define success as being capable to thrive and be happy in your goals and ambitions. Being able to make your dreams a reality and being able to experience achievement of never giving up .Overcoming obstacles one day at a time when all of the odds were against you.
