Hi Mariela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story really begins with lived experience, not just curiosity or training, but my own healing journey through some of the most overwhelming and emotionally intense chapters of my life. There were times when I felt completely broken open by life experiences, especially heartbreak and deep emotional pain where I genuinely didn’t know how I was going to put myself back together. I experienced moments of feeling mentally overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and disconnected from my sense of direction and stability. In those spaces, even simple daily functioning felt difficult.
But even in those moments, something in me still believed that healing was possible and available somehow.
That belief became the foundation of everything I do today.
I began exploring every modality and practice I now use with my clients, energy healing, spiritual development, emotional healing work, intuition, and deep inner reflection. Not as a business at first, but as a way to rebuild myself from the inside out. In many ways, I became my own “guinea pig,” applying everything I learned directly to my own healing process.
Over time, something profound started to shape me up. I transformed. I began to experience what I now call “joyful unison”, a state of alignment between my Body, Mind, and Spirit, where I could feel more whole, more grounded, and more connected to myself from the inside out.
As my healing deepened, my intuitive abilities became stronger and clearer, and people naturally began coming to me for guidance, healing, and insight. What started as personal healing slowly evolved into a calling, and eventually into my business, Joyful Unison with Mariela Siwarqinti LLC.
Today, I support others, especially highly sensitive people, empaths, and natural healers who may feel overwhelmed, lost, at a crossroad or disconnected from themselves. My work is rooted in the knowing that no matter how hopeless things may feel in a moment, healing is always available. I am living proof of that, and I help others find their way back to that same truth within themselves.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. My journey has involved profound personal and professional transitions that required me to grow in every area of my life at the same time.
There was a season where I made the decision to leave my 9-5 work environment and fully step into entrepreneurship, which meant shifting my business from something I did on the side into my primary and only source of income. Around that same time, I also went through a divorce while raising a young child, sold my home, and relocated. It was a period of major life restructuring that required me to rebuild stability from the ground up.
In that process, I had to deeply reexamine and heal my relationship with money, success, and what it truly means to build a heart-centered business. I was learning how to step more fully into entrepreneurship, not just in terms of offering my work, but also in learning how to sell, market, promote, and invest in my business in a way that still felt aligned with my heart-centered values and integrity.
One of my biggest challenges was learning how to hold all of these roles at once: being a provider, a devoted parent, a business owner, and a healer, while also making sure I did not abandon myself in the process. I had to learn how to balance caring for others with caring for myself, so that I could avoid burnout and remain grounded in my own well-being.
What supported me through all of it was practicing exactly what I teach. I committed to following my intuitive guidance and applying my own healing modalities, emotional tools, and spiritual practices to my own life consistently. I became deeply committed to walking my talk, not just teaching healing, but actively living it.
Looking back, those challenges were not separate from my work, they shaped it. They taught me how to support others not just from theory, but from lived experience, especially when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or in transition.

I run Joyful Unison with Mariela Siwarqinti LLC, a spiritual healing and mentorship practice dedicated to helping highly sensitive people, empaths, and natural healers reconnect with themselves on a deep emotional, energetic, and intuitive level.
My work blends psychic insight, energy healing, emotional healing, and spiritual guidance to help people move through overwhelm, self-doubt, emotional heaviness, and disconnection from their inner voice. My work is very grounded in helping people not only receive insight but actually integrate it into their daily lives in a practical, embodied way.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and understood exactly as they are, especially those who have often felt “too sensitive” or misunderstood in the world. My intention is to help people return to a sense of inner alignment, what I call joyful unison, a state where Body, Mind, and Spirit feel more connected, supported, and in harmony from the inside out.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success is no longer defined by external achievements alone. It is defined by alignment in real life, not just in theory.
Success is being able to live and work in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and sustainable, even while navigating the real responsibilities of life, including parenting, entrepreneurship, and personal growth all at the same time. It is about building something meaningful without losing yourself in the process.
On a deeper level, success is when I am able to stay connected to my inner peace while also showing up for others in a meaningful way. It is practicing what I teach using the same tools of healing, awareness, and emotional regulation in my own life that I offer to my clients, feeling proud and glad that they work.
I also define success by impact. It’s not just about how much I build, but about how deeply I am able to support others in reconnecting with themselves, trusting their intuition, and feeling more emotionally and energetically balanced in their lives.
And ultimately, success is freedom: the ability to live in alignment with my purpose, support my family, grow my work with integrity and big love, and still feel connected to joy, presence, and peace in my everyday life.
