Today we’d like to introduce you to Montia Shardae.
Hi Montia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started out in this beauty industry back when I was 16 years old, I was unsure and I only got in the industry because my mom made it mandatory for me to become a cosmetologist. Fast forward, 17 years later I never looked back, I’ve worked in several salons and spas, I worked for several beauty schools and October 1st 2022 I opened the first private esthetics school in Fayetteville, Nc. We’ve successfully graduated over 60 women from our program and since then a lot of our graduates has since moved on to open their own businesses and work in spas.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not, Being an entrepreneur is not easy at all. Somedays it gets extremely tough however I do trust the lord and I continue to show up with excellence knowing that God has it all under control.
