Hi Natosha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got started in the wedding industry when I began planning my own wedding in 2013. I was looking for a wedding coordinator to assist me on my wedding day and because I didn’t know of anyone. I went to Google and did a search. When I searched for wedding coordinator in Kinston, NC, Greenville NC and Goldsboro NC no local businesses were displayed, so it was at that moment I decided that that needed to change. In the mist of planning my 2014 wedding I started researching wedding planners and wedding coordinators roles and responsibilities to see if this was an area I wanted to pursue.
I’ve always known I wanted to have my own business, so I decided to go all in and enroll online with the New York Institute of Design to receive a certification in wedding and event planning. I also took a 3-day in person certification course through The Bridal Society, now known as The Certified Wedding Planner Society, to become a certified wedding planner. I believe if there is anything you are passionate about get all the education and training you can in that area so you can truly be the best and achieve your goal. So, in April of 2014, Exquisite Events Wedding & Event Planning, LLC was created and went full fledge in 2015.
We are where we are today because of God, the many clients we have served, and support from our family and friends. As well as our future clients to come!

Exquisite Events Wedding and Event Planning was established in 2015 in the heart of Eastern North Carolina. We are based out of Kinston; North Carolina and we serve all of North Carolina and South Carolina. Our team has received certification in wedding and event planning through The Certified Wedding Planner Society in 2015 and 2020. We also received 2019 Best of the Best Vendor for Event Planner for the East in The RENT MY WEDDING Magazine.
