Today we’d like to introduce you to Shavannah Moore.
Hi Shavannah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I am an Entrepreneur, Life Coach, Executive Producer & TV host who happens to also be a Philanthropist, Author, Visionary, Wife, and Mother!
I am on a mission to kill the status quo for every woman and mom and what we’ve been conditioned to believe for generations.
I have set out on a quest to Empower & Inspire Women by helping them find their voice and become the elevated version of themselves in their career/business.
I’ve transformed my own personal and professional life by embracing my calling to teach, coach, heal and lead on purpose! I was born on May 4th in Durham, North Carolina. When I was three years old, I was sent to live with my grandmother, who was a role model and a positive influence in my life. My grandmother was a habitual giver to the community, so early on, I learned the value of serving in the community.
As a quick study, I adopted the characteristics of my grandmother, which would serve a valuable purpose in my adult life. At the age of thirteen, I relocated to live with my mother and younger siblings in Raleigh, North Carolina. The lifestyle was new for me. I went from living in a small family-centered country town to a larger city in poverty conditions.
I began to feel a sense of loneliness while heading down a road of destruction. I gained a sense of independence from my mother by taking on the role of helping as a caregiver to my little sister, which included daily cooking and household responsibilities.
I’ve always had a sense of entrepreneurship as a young girl and experienced being a part of an all-girls singing group, which failed to thrive due to a lack of commitment from the group members. However, I continued to reach for the stars by working a variety of odd jobs and conducting home-based businesses to obtain income. I hit a severe hardship after becoming a teen mom and giving birth to my first child.
Encountering homelessness, I reached out for assistance from my local community advocacy, where I noticed that help was scarce. My local community lacked resources for families that were struggling, even while employed. This is where my non-profit was birthed!
As a young adult that was experiencing several challenges and a victim of childhood molestation, homelessness, and abandonment, I soon realized I was headed down the wrong path. An epiphany during isolation caused me to re-evaluate who I was within and what the calling was in my life.
Surrounding myself with positive and success-driven professionals that were not associated with my current lifestyle, I began to rebuild myself by adjusting myself mentally, spiritually, and physically.
I finally made the decision to live my best life while inspiring others to do the same. I believe that my past is what made me the woman I Am today, and I use that as fuel to motivate and empower other people to flourish! This is where the journey initially begins.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely NOT.
In addition to the challenges I faced growing up, I’ve also had several challenges during my Entrepreneur journey, including but not limited to depression, wanting to commit suicide, losing everything, sleeping out of my car, and almost losing my mind.
I just thank God that my determination and desire to keep going were stronger than my desire to quit. I knew at that moment, that the assignment was bigger than ME. This is the only time you experience these types of obstacles in life.
Look at all the great Leaders we look up to today: Oprah, Tyler Perry, Jay-Z, Steve Jobs, Tony Robbins, etc. Their rock bottom became the foundation of their success!
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Shavannah Speaks Moore?
As an Empowerment Speaker, Life Coach, and Media Mogul, I specialize in guiding Entrepreneurs, Celebrities, & World Class Leaders to BEcome the elevated version of themselves and leverage their Story to manifest their next level!
I am known for helping people build their confidence, find their voice, and share their stories with the World while creating a lifestyle they love! The foundation of EVERYTHING I do and teach is Mindset, Alignment & Story and this is what sets me apart from anyone else in my industry.
We work together to get to the root cause of anything that happens in your life and that generally begins with who YOU are Being! We uncover your limiting beliefs, and who you REALLY are (Core Values) and then we can work on integrating these principles so you can become the person who can attract the lifestyle you deserve!
This will ensure you are living the lifestyle you truly desire to live and not the lifestyle that everyone expects you to live. This is what I’m most proud of! Additionally, I believe with my whole heart that our stories are the foundation of a wildly successful life/business, and when you master how to tell your story, you’ll never be broke a day in your life.
#YourStoryMatters.
How do you define success?
Success, to me, is defined by how many lives you can positively impact and by leaving a legacy that will be here even when you are long gone.

Shavannah is an energetically amazing person with a passion to not only inspire but uplift her clients to a level of excellence. Her advice to start or expand your business is insightful and she doesn’t short you on information like some other coaches do. She has high integrity and is willing to do what it takes to ensure you succeed. There’s nothing like having experiences to bring passion to individuals backstory and she knows how to help you put it together. She inspired me to get out there and speak my truth and coach others on my journey. I’m on my way to updating and revamping my content and website to go full force. I’m forever grateful.
