Ke’uan May of Greenville on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Ke’uan May shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Ke’uan, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What battle are you avoiding?
The battle…are should I say battles that I’m avoiding is taking that leap. The leap that makes me remember why I worked so hard to get to this position in the first place. The same leap I took 4 years ago when I didnt know where I was headed. Consistency is a talent we all possess, we just choose not to adhere. The discipline I once had with my journey…it was lost along the incline of my platforms throughout these recent years. Knowing my potential is only the surface I create, while also trying to live life, while simultaneously dealing with the elements the universe and God hands you. Faith can grow weak in stronger times of negativity. The battles I avoid are battles that are conquerable with my own will.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Ke’uan May, native to Greenville, NC. Since the age of 14 I’ve always immersed myself in the realm of social media. Starting with daily motivational posts, to the cinematic films, to the social media platform I’ve established for myself. Fail2Succeed….a motto NC natives all too well. Not just a word, or a phrase, or even a symbol…A family that was created amongst myself and dear brother Travis Carmon, in honor of our late brother Ti’shawn Spence, everything under the F2S brand represents more than just one life itself. From our football training sessions, 7v7s, our basketball runs, we’ve allowed people to connect with each other along with passions we all hold dear. From the idea, to the plan, following the production, and introducing the final product, I’m proud to commend my media team from the likes of Dream To Reality Productions. Gray Filmz , & Osi’s Gallery. 2026 will be a floursing year as there are plans for events to bring everyone from all areas to attend. If you are looking for a belonging to a community who cares, loves you for you, we are here.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
When I think to respond to this question, My father profoundly comes to mind. Despite our connection behind as far from normal. I’m blessed my father and I have had to endure the struggles we faced “growing up’ with each other as we say. Being the product of one who was incarcerated, I grant my dad the credit of actually trying to be there. Everytime I’ve had my experiences with him, no matter if we were at the barberhshop all day, or hanging out on corner at the auto shop as others call “the hood” haha…or if I was able to be along his journey as we rode the highways on his 18 wheeler…he always told me to work…to never work for anyone…no matter the ways he didnt know how to teach me, it takes an understanding son keen to his own purpose of the world to move forward from resentment towards his elder. Besides, every single accomplishment he’s been able to witness on my behalf, he’s always said to keep going, saying “he’s proud”….who knew a few words could mean more than itself as time passes.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Fear, something I think we all unconsciously obtain wether it’s early in our born years or later as we experience life in our own unique fashion, for better and unfortunately sometimes worse. The fear of just being different, not having the comprehension to know you are significantly different amongst those around you. I’ve always been a heavily deep, intricate thinker. Yet it’s not always beneficial when your not always optimistic with the dreams you have. Faith plays a very important role in knowing what God has in store for you life. The simple fact I am giving my response to this question for you all to read, this was once a prayer that was involved in many nights before this intro to fame. Fear is what robs you of trying, of succeeding. Never succumb to those facades. You are capable of ALL things through christ.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
As I name a few people in this response, I’ll do my best to be brief. My dear friend Mr.Ron, I thank him for his devoting motivation his instilled upon me in just the few times we’ve had as he was attempting to push me to the heights of familiar dealings with names such as Mr.Beast (Jimmy). I pray I get the chance to fully pursue what he was working to have me obtain. Never lose sight of the signs god shows you. Denzel Washington, although my encounter with you may have just been a distant face in the crowd walking alongside your vehicle as you were escorted out of the buzzling streets of times square…the aura of your presence as the crowd roared upon your being, I shall meet you in due time, as I know..I know it will be a moment that will be forever cherished. Everything upon that NYC trip in May 2025 came full circle was 2 years prior I did my first acting gig with my brother Trey Robbins, connecting with fellow actress Kaitlyn Jackson who is native to NYC, then to filming my first vlog at this present time, to running into Brett Gray (Jamal Turner “On My Block”)…..Watching Denzel since a kid, having my social media presence as I do now, everything will happen in due time.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
You see, questions like these can turn controversial if not responded “correctly”. But what’s the “correct” way you know what I mean? You ever had a dream, and something from the dream happened exactly how it did? You ever just did something, and you trace it back to a premonition you had months ago? You ever just thought a thought, you dwelled inside the wonders of your mind, and something just happened to correlate exactly as your perception designed? It’s 8 billion plus this world inhabits…of course I’m not the only who thinks they think to higher magnitudes. What I’m saying is I understand more of how my spirit, my soul, my being connects and lives within this world, amongst you all. The beauty of life is that we all have differences that can match with the indifference. I know I may speak as if I’m some philosophical early 2000s born know it all…which I love to claim i don’t know it all. I love you all. Your mind is your biggest super power. God never makes mistakes.
