Keya, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are very intentional. I start by reading a daily Bible chapter for about 20 minutes, which sets the tone and grounds me spiritually. After that, I take time to get myself ready for the day — washing my face, brushing my teeth, and preparing myself mentally and physically. Then, I make a cup of hot tea and dedicate the next hour to my business: 30 minutes promoting my brand and another 30 minutes responding to emails and direct messages. This routine helps me start my day focused, productive, and balanced.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Keya, and I’m the CEO and founder of Kash2Krazy LLC, a streetwear brand I’ve proudly built and grown over the past 7 years. What makes Kash2Krazy unique is that it’s not just about clothing — it’s about culture, confidence, and creating a lifestyle where people feel bold enough to stand out and be themselves. Every piece I design carries the energy of hustle, individuality, and fearlessness. For me, Kash2Krazy is proof that with vision and consistency, you can take an idea and turn it into a brand that inspires others.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful takes me back to 2019, when I first started selling clothes. I’ll never forget the moment my very first t-shirt I designed, sold out instantly. It was more than just sales — it was proof that people believed in me and connected with what I created. In that moment, I felt unstoppable, like I had the power to shape my own future. That day lit a fire in me and gave me the confidence to chase entrepreneurship full-time, knowing that with hard work and vision, I could turn my passion into something real and lasting.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There have definitely been plenty of times I felt like giving up. Running a business is not easy — from late nights designing, to dropping products that didn’t sell the way I hoped, the challenges can be overwhelming. But every time I reached that breaking point, I leaned on my faith. God never let me give up, and I reminded myself why I started. That faith and persistence are what have carried me this far and kept Kash2Krazy alive and growing.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
The biggest lie in this industry is that success happens overnight. People glamorize the idea of dropping a product and instantly selling out, but that’s not the reality for most entrepreneurs. The truth is, building a brand takes faith, consistency, and relentless work behind the scenes. Selling out once doesn’t define you — it’s the discipline to keep evolving and showing up every day that makes a brand truly last.

I am absolutely doing what I was born to do. From the moment I started Kash2Krazy, I felt a spark — a sense that this was my calling. Building a brand, creating bold designs, and connecting with people through my work isn’t just something I do, it’s who I am. Being an entrepreneur allows me to channel my passion, creativity, and determination every day, and I know that this is the path I was meant to take.
