Mr. Knox Peake shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Knox , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: When have you felt most loved—and did you believe you deserved it?
Before we begin, I’d like to dedicate this article—and much of my year’s success and joy—to creative producer, actor, and dear friend Santiago Batista. You are a light to all.
I’ve felt the most loved when someone truly sees me: my magic, my quirks, my obsessions, my empathetic glow—and chooses to stay. Not with grand gestures, but with small, genuine ones like, “I’m always here, Knox.” As an only child and only grandchild, I’ve been deeply loved my whole life. And as I enter my 40th year on earth, I’ve learned that I feel the most loved when someone accepts both the fiery spark and gentle softness within me. It’s the freedom of not having to shrink or shine extra—just knowing I’m enough in any form.
Did I always feel like I deserved that? No. I used to think love was something you earned through perfection. I’ve been a creator and a perfectionist my entire life. I believed I had to be the best, look the best, and do the most to be worthy of love. The strange part is, I was the one putting that pressure on myself. My family and true friends have always loved me simply for being Knox.
I also once thought love had to be crafted like a fantasy. But this year taught me that real love is something you first allow to grow within yourself. Only now am I truly believing that I’m worthy of all the love I’ve been so graciously given throughout my life.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Yeehaw! My name is Knox Peake—yes, that’s my real name—and I’m a North Carolina–based content creator, social media influencer, and LGBTQIA+ community advocate with full wizard-cowboy energy. I use positivity and joy to connect with my audience, focusing on uplifting content with an inspirational twist.
As a lifestyle creator, I’ve built a large following by sharing my outdoor adventures, home and garden projects, and my love for travel and exploration. Through authenticity and consistency, I grew my platform into a full-time career and have been fortunate to work with some of the world’s top brands, hotels, and travel/tourism boards.
I’ve also got several high-profile brand deals in the works—so stay tuned!
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
One of my earliest memories of feeling powerful was riding my wave runner on Lake Norman, where I grew up and currently live in North Carolina. I was young, just beginning to understand myself on a deeper level. But the moment I hit the throttle, something inside me lit up. I felt magical and completely free for the first time in my life.
The lake made me feel like the world was mine. I realized I wasn’t just riding a machine across the water—I was learning to trust myself. That sense of power also sparked my lifelong love of the great outdoors. And that magical, empowering feeling has stayed with me ever since, even through the tougher chapters of life.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I love this question.
Hey kid… you don’t know it yet, but everything that makes you feel different is going to become your magical superpower. The softness you worry about? Cherish it. The light you feel? Use it, share it, and fiercely protect it. The way you dream with magic bigger than the world around you? Don’t shrink it for anyone.
Trust me: the world doesn’t get to tame you. You’re a wizard, a cowboy, a whole damn beacon of light and energy who’s going to bring joy to millions of people. So saddle up, little Knox. Trust your instincts always, and allow your magic to shine with empathy and love.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That you have to be a sellout to make it big in social media or content creation. The industry often makes creators believe the exact opposite of what’s actually essential for long-term success. It’s why my engagement rate rivals that of creators with millions of followers.
I only partner with brands I can genuinely support and personally recommend—brands that celebrate diversity and inclusion, empowerment, confidence, adventure, and discovery. I’ve turned down deals that didn’t align with my values, and I always read my contracts carefully and trust my instincts.
I’m incredibly grateful for this approach because it’s allowed me to build real trust with my audience and collaborate with world-renowned brands like Land Rover, The Ritz-Carlton, JCPenney, and many more.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If immortality were real, what would you build?
I’m building it as we speak. I’m building something unbreakable—an idea that life should be celebrated with love and gratitude.
I can’t believe you asked me this question, because since I was a little boy, I dreamed of being magical and immortal. I became obsessed with the idea in middle school with my best friend, George. It’s also the foundation of my wizard persona. I wanted to leave something behind that would outlive me.
Eventually, I realized the secret: I could build immortality myself through my creations. Every piece of content I make, every moment I share, every spark of magic I put into the virtual world… that’s my forever. My voice, my energy, my story—they’ll keep living long after I’m gone.
And truth be told, the Knox my loyal followers see is the purest and best version of me. It’s a version I’m proud to share—one I hope uplifts people, inspires them to chase their dreams, see the world, and feel happy and loved.
The immortality I’m building is made of love, gratitude, caring for the planet, and creating a more inclusive world. That’s the magic spell I hope continues to live on.
