Hi Brittany , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey into skincare didn’t begin with trends or aesthetics—it began with a problem I needed to solve for myself.
I’ve dealt with eczema and sensitive skin for most of my life,That curiosity led me to earn a degree in biology, where I learned to understand skin as a living organ connected to overall health.
I later became a licensed esthetician and a certified Herbalist to began working hands-on with clients, which allowed me to bridge science with real-life results.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building and maintaining client trust. Skincare isn’t a one-time fix, and helping clients understand that facials require time, patience, and consistency has taken ongoing education and communication.
Results come from commitment, not quick solutions, and that mindset shift doesn’t happen overnight.
Another major challenge was navigating the impact of the pandemic. Operating and helping rebuild a wellness business after COVID required resilience, adaptability, and reimagining how we connected with and served clients.
Recovering client confidence, maintaining consistency, and continuing to grow in that environment wasn’t easy—but it strengthened my approach, my work ethic, and my commitment to intentional, results-driven care.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work at the intersection of science, herbalism, and esthetics. As a licensed esthetician, certified herbalist, and biologist, I specialize in corrective skincare with a strong focus on barrier repair, inflammation, acne, hyperpigmentation, and sensitive or eczema-prone skin.
I’m known for taking an intentional, educational approach—helping clients understand their skin and commit to consistency for real, lasting results.
In my leadership role at Isis Wellness Bar, I support both women and men through holistic, inside-out healing. In addition to specialized skincare plans, we offer wellness services such as vaginal steaming and anal steams for men to support overall balance and reproductive health.
I’m especially proud of the work we’ve done assisting women across the Triangle who were experiencing fertility challenges and later went on to conceive.
What sets me apart is my ability to bridge evidence-based science with holistic care. Whether I’m treating skin, managing a wellness space, or developing my upcoming skincare brand, my goal is always the same: to help people heal fully—mind, body, and skin—through thoughtful, corrective, and individualized care.
Any big plans?
Looking ahead, I’m focused on continuing to grow both personally and professionally while expanding my impact. In the near future, I’ll be launching my own skincare brand rooted in barrier health, sensitivity support, and corrective care for concerns like acne and hyperpigmentation.
The goal is to make science-backed, holistic skincare accessible to more people beyond the treatment room.
I’m also looking forward to expanding my clientele reach and continuing to educate the community on holistic care—helping people understand how skin health, internal wellness, and lifestyle are all deeply connected.
Whether through hands-on treatments, product education, or community outreach, my focus will remain on empowering individuals to heal and care for themselves from the inside out.
