Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Giselle

Hi Carolina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m a licensed esthetician and makeup artist specializing in weddings and facials. I first started my journey after watching beauty YouTube videos and I instantly became hooked! I loved learning all about the different products, brands, and techniques I never new existed. This lead me to start doing freelance makeup on friends and family who gave me the push I needed to start booking more clients. After 6 years of being a freelance makeup artist, I decided to go back to school and get my esthetician license. I am now offering skincare services along with professional makeup services in my studio.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I truly struggled for a long time to get the confidence to book paying clients. It’s so hard not to compare your work to other amazing and talented artists. I try to remind myself that everyones journey is different and to just focus on my love and passion for the beauty space. It hasn’t been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change my experience and what I’ve been through for anything. I continue to push myself out of my comfort zone and keep learning as much as I can to provide the best for my clients.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have been a makeup artist for over 7 years now and specialize in soft glam makeup looks. I love doing makeup for weddings, engagements, photoshoots, maternity, prom, quinceañeras, and any other special events. I’m also a licensed esthetician specializing in facials and skincare. I love pampering my clients, making them feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a facial appointment. I’m so proud of every look I create and I can’t believe how blessed I am to call this my career.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’m Latina and so proud I get to meet and work with other amazing Latina artists who continue to inspire me in my career. I’m also a beauty content creator and I love to try out different products and brands. I’m constantly trying to improve my makeup kit and facial services for the best makeup and skincare products on the market.
