Today we’d like to introduce you to Dacia Zimmer.

Hi Dacia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We started converting an old camper trailer in 2020 and have fully renovated the trailer from top to bottom.

I, Dacia have over 18 years of restaurant and hospitality industry experience. The idea to create a mobile coffee trailer came from me living in Spokane, WA for 5 years and working with many coffee businesses. I have always dreamt of owning my own coffee business and sharing a product she loves with others. My other passion is traveling and trying food and drinks all over the World. I bring my knowledge and experiences to Wilmington where I hope to delight others with my coffee and drinks.

We offer coffee, tea, and lemonades during the warmer months and hot cocoa, apple cider, and hot teas during the colder months.

We currently offer both our newly renovated 18ft. trailer and a tent for pop-ups at smaller events.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say the funding for the project was one of the biggest struggles and finding time to work on rebuilding the trailer. Then finding out how to appropriately budget for cost of materials, fair pricing for products, and operating the first event.

We are more than just a coffee shop, more than just a mobile coffee trailer, we are a coffee experience. We want to bring the coffee to you wherever you are and fuel you for the day. We offer our services in Wilmington, NC and the neighboring areas.

We completely renovated a 1980’s camper trailer into the Cool Beans Wilmington Mobile Event Trailer.

We offer a variety of different services and packages to bring coffee to events, festivals, markets, and we even offer a drive-through capability.

Don’t have space for our 18ft trailer, no problem, we have a pop-up tent we use for smaller events too.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Customer service, integrity, and building relationships within the community.

  • $399 for events between 25-45
  • $599+ for large events 45+
