Today we’d like to introduce you to Mitch Webb.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My buddy and I started Midtown Detailing of N.C LLC when we were juniors in high school. We were passionate about cleaning our own vehicles and decided why not clean others? We started marketing and spreading the word of our new business. Something important to us was to serve the triangle area with an emphasis on building client relationships. As a junior in college now I am proud to be running and continuing to grow this thriving business while also getting a bachelors degree in Agricultural Business Management from N.C State. We have detailed hundreds and hundreds of cars, boats, atv’s, golf carts, and more. The one thing that keeps this business going is the relationships we have with our clients. We find it important to build and continue these relationships. We feel a part of their family serving them in a way that fulfills us. Detailing is just a part of our mission. Our mission is to serve North Carolina with expert detailing services while building meaningful relationships. We are grateful for the opportunity detailing as giving me to serve North Carolina and meet some incredible people.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. Business Ownership can be incredibly hard but also incredibly rewarding. Equipment breaks, people don’t call back, employees leave. All of these are a part of owning a business, but I am grateful for my family and friends that push me and encourage me to keep going. I love this quote by Nelson Mandela, it states, “Don’t judge me my by success. Judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again”. This quote emphasizes the importance of motivation and getting back up when you feel discouraged. I may have had struggles along the way but I am determined to continue to serve my community through expert detailing.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Midtown Detailing of N.C LLC is a premium mobile detailing company based in Raleigh, North Carolina. We provide interior, exterior, boat and vehicle detailing. We also provide ceramic coatings and paint correction services. I would like to say we are known for our excellent communication and client relationships. We think it is imperative to arrive in time, clearly communicate with the client, and do an excellent job on their vehicle. Our detailing services are fully mobile. This means we can travel to your work, home, or job site to get the job done. This makes it easy for the client to sit back relax or work while we service their vehicle.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is taking trips to the beach with my family. Family is an important part of our lives and I am thankful for the love and support of mine. Taking beach trips is special to me because it means I can relax and recharge while also generating new ideas for my business. I love to continue to grow and brainstorm innovative ideas and these trips allow me to do that.
