Today we’d like to introduce you to Robert Black.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Before I started with photography, I have always been the one to take pictures for others. Whether it’s with a camera or a phone. Everyone is always saying I want Rob to take my picture/pictures. It always made me feel good to make people smile and create memories. Memories that bring light and joy to your day when you may be feeling down or maybe just having a bad day. This brings me where I am today. A successful Photographer.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The struggle and challenge for me along the way was just mainly getting more clients. But that’s with anything that you start. You have to build up, and it’s not going to be easy. You have to keep watering what you want to grow then eventually, whatever it is, it will prosper. Just got to keep putting in the work.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I do my own freelance photography. I travel to others no matter where they may be. I do conferences, weddings, baby showers, engagements, school pictures, etc. I am also an entrepreneur in another business of mine that my wife and I are building, and I’m most proud of just becoming the people God made us to be.
What are your plans for the future?
My plan is to just simply grow and be able to bless others.
