Hi Tanell, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Tanell Smith, I am 23 years old and I’ve always known i would be a successful entrepreneur! Ive always been ambitious and I always had a passion to consistently create, but what really pushed me to start my own business was being stuck in survival mode for years and years, yearning for betterment. Da Ritz is not my first business, and it won’t be my last being that im just getting started. I want to share my ideas and passions with the world, I want to be SEEN and HEARD.
I came from a tough lifestyle and although im not rich and successful yet, I already feel that way and I hope one day ill be able to pass my business down to my daughter Alexandria.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it hasn’t, honestly I struggled mostly with building my website and getting sales.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I haven’t actually published my creations yet, but I wanted to eventually introduce Da Ritz very own clothing line featuring Streetwear and Y2k fashions
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Im very lucky to wake up everyday and keep going. Or to sometimes wake up and start something new
