Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Metric.
Hi Tony, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started listening to electronic music at the age of 8, mainly Hard-House at that time. During my adolescence, I purchased a DJ controller and began playing at private events, gradually moving on to fashion shows and popular clubs in the city over the years. What marked a turning point in my career was taking advantage of the pandemic to professionally learn music production. I enrolled in several music production schools and masterclasses with my favorite artists. Due to the success of my recent tracks, I have had the opportunity to sign with famous electronic music labels, as well as being featured in DJ MAG and Mixmag magazines, to name a few.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been easy at all. The most difficult part was getting people to believe in me and then having renowned artists trust in my sound and play my music at the world’s leading electronic music festivals. Additionally, this career is all about studying and constantly updating.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I make electronic music, mainly House music. But what I like to do the most is making remixes of famous songs/artists like: Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Jefferson Airplane, just to name a few.
I also work as Music Co-Writer, also as known as Ghost Producers for some DJ around the world, and it includes my mixing services for people who makes music.
In my personal life, I run a supplement store in my country. It’s related to muscle enhancers and fat loss products; its name is PuredPharma
What are your plans for the future?
Of course, my future plans are to travel to Europe and get signed by Toolroom Records and Sony Music. I am currently booking some gigs there and improving my skills in order to get signed.
