Hi Vanessa , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My spiritual journey began in high school, during a time when unexplainable things started happening around me and within me. I would see things, feel things, and somehow know certain events before they happened. At first, I brushed it off as coincidence. But then the dreams became more vivid, the visions became more accurate, and I realized there was something much deeper unfolding.
At that time, my passion was music and dance. I was pursuing a music career as a rapper known as **Heavy Vee**, and I also had my own dance team in high school. Performing was where I felt most alive. Music gave me a voice, and dance gave my spirit a way to move.
Being a New Jersey native, I had the opportunity to audition for **America’s Got Talent** in New York City. I went there as a rapper, focused on my music, hoping that would be my big break. Unfortunately, I did not make it through the New York auditions. But shortly after, my mother had what I now understand to be a vision.
She went into this quiet, almost dazed state, looked toward the sky, and said, “What if America’s Got Talent called you back to dance on the show?”
I remember laughing it off. I told her, “That would never happen. They do not even know I dance.” After all, I had auditioned as a rapper, not as a dancer.
Six months later, everything changed.
I came across **America’s Got Talent Myspace auditions** and decided to submit a dance video online. A week later, I received a call from a talent scout telling me they wanted to fly me to California to audition on live television with **Nick Cannon**.
I was beyond excited. I ran into my mother’s room to tell her the news. But as I was explaining what happened, it suddenly hit me. My mother had seen this moment six months before it happened. She knew I would be called back — not for rap, but for dance.
That was the moment everything connected for me.
I realized my mother was psychic. And all of the visions, dreams, feelings, and predictions I had experienced growing up were not random. They were part of a gift I had inherited from her.
That experience opened my eyes to who I was spiritually. It helped me understand that intuition, vision, and divine timing had always been woven into my life. What once felt like coincidence became confirmation. And from that moment forward, I began to see my spiritual journey not as something strange, but as something sacred.
It wasn’t until after my grandmother passed that I began taking my spiritual journey seriously. Her transition opened a doorway in me that I could no longer ignore.
Shortly after her passing, she began visiting me in my dreams. These were not ordinary dreams — they felt vivid, intentional, and deeply real. I was able to communicate with her telepathically, and those experiences gave me a sense of peace, confirmation, and purpose. It was as if she was letting me know that although she had left the physical world, her presence and guidance were still very much with me.
From that moment forward, I became more intentional about understanding the spiritual realm. I began learning about spirit guides, guardian angels, ancestors, and the ways our loved ones can continue to support us beyond this lifetime. I came to understand that my grandmother was more than a beloved family member — she had become one of my guardian angels, a guiding presence helping me navigate my path.
As I went deeper into my spiritual journey, I felt called to turn my gifts into something that could serve others. That calling eventually led me to create my own business, where I could help people connect, heal, and experience the unseen in a meaningful way.
What began as personal grief transformed into purpose. Today, I use my spiritual gifts through events, corporate bookings, private parties, and local gatherings — creating spaces where people can feel inspired, connected, and reminded that there is so much more to life than what we can physically see.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a psychic medium and intuitive has not always been easy. People often see the gift, but they do not always see the journey behind it. Even those of us who are spiritually gifted still have to go through life lessons, personal challenges, and deep inner work.
There have been many stages, levels, and initiations I had to experience in order to become the person I am today. I would definitely describe myself as the black sheep of my family. I did not take the traditional path. I did not go to college, and I did not follow the route that many people expected of me. Instead, I chose to honor my creativity, think outside the box, and turn my spiritual gifts into a career.
That path came with challenges. Being the black sheep can feel lonely. It can mean being misunderstood, judged, or made to feel different because you see, feel, and experience things others may not understand. There were times when people thought I was strange or even “crazy” because of my visions, dreams, and intuitive knowing. There were also moments when people misunderstood my spiritual work and labeled it as something negative or demonic, when in truth, I know my gift comes from God.
But every challenge has taught me something powerful. The biggest lesson I have learned, and am still learning, is that everything I need is already within me. I do not have to search outside of myself for validation, purpose, or love. My journey has taught me to embrace who I am fully — through the pain, the trauma, the flaws, the healing, and the growth.
At the heart of it all, the lesson is unconditional love. Loving myself unconditionally. Loving others with compassion. And understanding that even the parts of our journey that feel painful can become part of our purpose. For me, unconditional love is the ultimate goal.

The best way to describe who I am is simply: **I AM.**
I am the presence of God within and around me. I believe that, as human beings, we often limit ourselves by labels. We call ourselves by titles, professions, or roles, but the truth is, we are so much more than any one name or description could ever hold.
In simple terms, I am a psychic, shaman, medium, and Reiki practitioner. But beyond the titles, I am a vessel for healing, transformation, and spiritual connection. I am always evolving, expanding, and adding new healing modalities to my work so I can better serve the people who are called to me.
The services I currently offer include tarot card readings, ancestor readings, angel messages, mediumship, past life regressions, shamanic healing, Archangelic Light Healing, Angelic Reiki, cord cutting, money rituals, and guided meditations. I also offer transformational packages where I work with clients over an extended period of time to help them move through life changes, obstacles, trauma, and personal evolution.
I am most known for the many forms of healing I provide, as well as my love readings. Love is one of the areas I specialize in because the relationship with yourself and others often reveal so much about who we are, what we need to heal, and how we are being called to grow.
One of the things I am most proud of is being recognized and trusted by high-profile individuals, celebrities, and respected businesses. I have hosted a private tarot reading event for **Sue Downes, CEO of MyEyeDr.**, and I have worked with well-known creators such as **HeyTonyTV**, a close friend of mine with four million followers on TikTok. I have also been hand-selected to do events with local organizations and businesses such as **511 Faye** and **Cary’s Sports & Social Club**.
Beyond private readings and spiritual services, I am especially proud of curating my own events, including **The Mystic Journey Spiritual Fair** and **The Mystic Journey Spiritual Retreat**. These events were born from my desire to create more opportunities for spiritual creatives, healers, and entrepreneurs. The retreat brings together some of the best spiritual practitioners to offer a variety of modalities, techniques, and healing experiences in a sacred three-day space filled with food, entertainment, connection, and transformation.
What truly sets me apart is my deep connection to Spirit and my ancestors. My work is rooted in transformation. I believe we are not bound by the life we were handed. We have the power to change, heal, evolve, and create something greater.
I teach people how to reprogram their thoughts, speak life into themselves, affirm their desires, co-create with God and Spirit, and manifest a life that feels aligned with their highest self.
At the core of everything I do is compassion. I have a deep understanding that people do not have to remain trapped in pain, survival, or the circumstances they were born into. Through healing, intention, faith, and transformation, I believe anyone can overcome obstacles and step into the life they truly dream of living.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The qualities I believe are most important to my success are staying grounded, humble, protected, focused, relatable, reliable, and spiritually connected.
For me, success is not just about recognition, opportunities, or financial growth. True success is being able to remain centered while everything around you expands. It is remembering who you are, where you come from, and why you started.
Staying grounded keeps me connected to reality, to my purpose, and to the people I serve. Humility reminds me that my gifts are not just for me — they are meant to help, heal, and guide others. Being protected, both spiritually and energetically, allows me to move through different spaces while honoring my peace and my calling.
I also believe it is important to be relatable and reliable. People need to feel that they can trust you, not only because of your gifts, but because of your character. My goal is to show up with integrity, compassion, and consistency.
Above all, my success depends on staying spiritually connected to Divine Mother Earth and God. That connection is my foundation. It keeps me aligned, balanced, and guided as I continue to grow, serve, and walk in my purpose.
