Life & Work with Ysabella Dulla of North Carolina

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ysabella Dulla.

Hi Ysabella, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
my name is ysabella dulla, but most people know me as ysa. i’m the founder of love, sai studios, a pilates and strength studio in high point, north carolina.

my journey started with a simple love for movement and helping people. i became a certified personal trainer and later a pilates instructor, teaching classes while working other jobs and learning everything i could about fitness, business, and leadership. what began as a passion project quickly grew into something much bigger than i imagined.

in 2025, i opened my first studio with a vision of creating a space that felt welcoming, creative, and community-centered. i started small, wearing every hat imaginable—from instructor and marketer to cleaner and front desk staff. through consistency, word of mouth, and an incredible community, the studio continued to grow.

in january 2026, at 23 years old, i opened my second studio, expanding love, sai into a larger pilates and strength concept. What started as a single-room dream became a multi-studio business serving hundreds of clients throughout the triad. today, we offer reformer pilates, strength training, heated classes, wellness events, and community-focused programming designed to help people build sustainable health and confidence.

through every stage of the journey, my faith has been my foundation. there have been challenges, long hours, and moments where the vision felt bigger than my experience, but i’ve learned that growth often happens when you’re willing to take the next step before you feel fully ready.

looking back, i’m grateful that what started with teaching a few classes has grown into a business that allows me to serve others, create opportunities for my team, and create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered. it’s been incredible to watch love, sai grow from an idea into a thriving community, and i’m excited to see what God has in store next.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. one of the biggest challenges has been learning how to lead and grow a business at a young age while wearing so many different hats. there have been seasons where my faith was truly tested, especially when things didn’t go according to plan or when the vision felt bigger than my experience.

burnout was another challenge. what surprised me most was that it happened while doing something i genuinely loved. when you’re constantly teaching, leading, creating, and serving others, it’s easy to pour from an empty cup without realizing it. those seasons taught me the importance of rest, boundaries, and trusting God with the outcome instead of trying to control everything myself.

now, i’m learning what balance looks like and how to find joy in the learning curves instead of fearing them. i’ve realized that growth isn’t just about reaching the next milestone, it’s about becoming the person capable of handling it. looking back, the challenges strengthened my faith, helped me grow as a leader, and taught me to appreciate the journey just as much as the destination.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
i’m the owner of love, sai studios, a pilates and strength training studio with two locations in high point, north carolina. while pilates is my specialty, i genuinely love all forms of movement. there are many effective ways to lose weight, build muscle, and improve your health, but my passion has been creating a method that combines the best of pilates and strength training into one experience.

over the years, i developed our signature approach, blending intentional strength training with pilates principles to help clients build muscle, improve mobility, prevent injury, and create sustainable results. what sets us apart is that we’re currently the only studio in the triad with the facilities, equipment, and specialized training to teach this method the way it was designed to be taught.

what i’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. while opening a second studio at 23 was a major milestone, the real reward is seeing our clients become stronger, more confident, and healthier. love, sai studios has become more than a fitness space—it’s a place where people feel supported, challenged, and encouraged every step of the way.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
JUSTICE TERRY- The owner of Jusfit. I worked as her pilates instructor for almost 2 years and she is who gave me the physical space to DIY and make my own. She also gave me the confidence to pursue a dream. She Has led me in in my spiritual life and my career. She leads with confidence, security, discipline, and she is just such a motivator. Despite us being both being trainers, in the fitness space, and literal neighbors in business. It has been nothing but support, love, and encouragement. She’s everything I aspire to be as an owner and a person.

MY TEAM- My instructors and my admin team. I have the privilege to say my entire team are my friends and family. I know the world says to never go into business with your friends but God works in the opposite way. When I see them I see motivation, growth, love, respect, and joy. and that is what/how I pour in such a great environment into my community.
