Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianne Barnes. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Speak Creations was founded by Adrianne Barnes, a North Carolina native with a global vision to spread the Word of God and the Good News that is Jesus Christ. Discovering for herself the necessity of the Word of God in everyday life, she was inspired to make it available to all people.
Speak Creations is an online Christian retail store that brings an entirely new meaning to “spoken word”. Through our original designs, inspired by scripture, the Word of God is spoken and serves as a reminder that there is a Word for every situation life brings. Each design speaks for itself, and we pray that our products speak to you, as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road of an entrepreneur is never smooth! I’d say the biggest struggle that I’ve faced and am still facing is marketing and driving sells. I know my products are unique and quality, but I have not found what will make my brand “popular”. I struggle keeping up with and learning the newest social media trends and outlets that are successful in marketing strategies.
I’ve also struggled with being the “face” of my brand. Initially, I thought that the products could and should speak for themselves, but most consumers are doing so emotionally and thus are more likely to buy from who they can relate to. I’m getting better, but I still have work to do.

Vision: Creating lives that speak Word!
I personally specialize in design. All products are divinely designed (by inspiration from God) based on scripture. I believe the designs themselves are what sets Speak Creations apart from other Christian brands. Most designs other brands create are just words. We use a lot of symbolism and create designs that make you think.
I’m most proud of the two successful pop-up shop events that Speak Creations hosted. We were able to bring exposure and sells for several local businesses.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
I’m always looking to collaborate! Some of the collaborations that Speak Creations has had thus far are with fitness trainers and instructors as well as photographers. We created packaged deals in which my products could be purchased along with their services.
