Meet Alison Wojnarowski of The W Real Estate Group powered by LPT Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alison Wojnarowski

Hi Alison, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my real estate journey in 2020, just before the pandemic. Before that, I was a stay-at-home mom, looking for a part-time opportunity to stay active while raising my kids. Having relied heavily on Facebook groups like moms’ groups and local community forums for resources over the years, I noticed a gap in relocation resources specific to the Raleigh area. Recognizing this need, I started a relocation-focused group in 2020—and from there, my real estate business quickly took off.

In my first year in real estate, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic—and while pregnant and welcoming my third child—I closed $15 million in sales volume. As my business rapidly grew, I built a team out of necessity. By 2021, we had closed over $70 million in sales volume and helped more than 130 families find their homes.

Today, I work full-time in real estate and have built a thriving social media brand called Relocating to Raleigh, which spans Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. This brand is all about fostering community connections and providing valuable resources to those new to the area. I genuinely love living in Raleigh and want to share the joy it brings me with others. Relocating to Raleigh is the heart of that mission, capturing the essence of what makes this city so special.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t been smooth by any means—it’s been filled with constant learning and growth. Navigating the challenges of becoming a leader in this industry and building confidence in my own leadership abilities has been one of the most rewarding yet demanding parts of the process.

The W Real Estate Group was created from the foundation of the Relocating to Raleigh brand, with a mission to help clients relocating to the area find their perfect home in Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle. I’m proud to lead a team that prioritizes serving and supporting the community above all else—our commitment to the community comes first, even before real estate. I truly love Raleigh and am passionate about contributing to its incredible growth. What sets us apart is our genuine care for our clients. We go beyond just finding a home—we strive to match each family with the ideal location in the Triangle that aligns with their unique needs and lifestyle.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Start with the people you already know: colleagues, friends, and acquaintances. Focus on how you can add value to their lives or work. It could be sharing resources, offering a fresh perspective, or helping with their projects. Be genuine and express curiosity about their experiences and insights. People appreciate sincerity and are more likely to help when they can feel your interest is authentic. Building meaningful relationships takes time. Be consistent and intentional in your efforts.
