Meet Amanda Surratt of Confidently Joyful

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Surratt.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into healing began through my own battle with chronic illness. For years, I struggled with Epstein–Barr Virus, insulin resistance, and SIBO, along with relentless fatigue, inflammation, and anxiety. I did everything I knew to do: ate clean, exercised, prayed, saw specialists, and tried every protocol that promised relief. Yet no matter how hard I worked, my body kept crashing. Every test came back “normal,” but I knew something deeper was being overlooked.

That breaking point became my turning point. I began studying emotional and energetic healing through a faith-based lens and discovered that true healing is physical, but it’s not found in pharmaceuticals or endless supplements. It’s found in alignment: the right nutrition and movement for your body, paired with emotional release and spiritual restoration. Once I began healing on all three levels, my body finally responded.

Over time, that revelation became the foundation of my work. I created the Holy Healing Method, a faith-driven and energetic approach that helps people of faith identify and release the root causes of chronic illness so the body can do what it was designed to do.

Today, after more than 14 years in the wellness field, I have the honor of guiding others who feel like they’ve “tried everything” to find peace, energy, and purpose again. Watching clients come back to life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, is still the most sacred part of what I do.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has refined how I show up in this work.

One of the hardest parts has been explaining energy healing to people who only trust what comes from a white coat, or those who assume it’s “woo.” The truth is, everything I do is rooted in how the body is designed to restore balance when the right physical, emotional, and energetic conditions are in place. Over time, I’ve learned that people who rush to judge often aren’t ready to heal. True healing takes humility, curiosity, and a willingness to see things differently.

Another challenge has been watching clients hold on to the victim identity, even while saying they want to heal. You can’t heal from what you keep identifying with. Often the body is showing us a lesson that needs to be learned before change can happen. Once that deeper work is done, it’s like time collapses. What once felt impossible simply dissolves.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I’m the founder of Confidently Joyful and the creator of the Holy Healing Method™. What I do is help people heal chronic illness naturally by getting to the root of what’s really going on, physically, emotionally, and energetically.

A lot of my clients come to me after they’ve been to every doctor, tried all the supplements, and still don’t feel like themselves. We use biofeedback scans, emotional release work, and personalized healing protocols to bring the body back into balance so they can finally feel good again, clear-headed, energized, peaceful.

What really sets my work apart is how personal it is. There’s no one-size-fits-all here. It’s about helping each person understand their body and their story.

And honestly, that’s what I love most. I love seeing people realize that healing doesn’t have to feel like a fight. It can feel like coming home to yourself again, full of freedom, joy, and ease.

My mission is to show people that healing doesn’t have to be hard. When you stop fighting your body and start listening to it, everything changes.

I see a world where people are no longer afraid of their symptoms. I see a world where they know how to support their body and emotions in a way that feels peaceful and doable.

For me, it’s about helping people live from alignment instead of survival. Because when you do, healing becomes a byproduct of wholeness, and that’s where true transformation happens.

I work with women who are ready to finally heal at the root. My Holy Healing Mentorship is a 90-day one-to-one experience where we meet for private appointments, and they also have Voxer access in between. Each woman receives a personalized plan that might include nutrition support, meal plans and recipes, tapping scripts, essential oil recommendations, and full access to my Healing Through Faith Membership.

Healing Through Faith Membership is a beautiful community space where we have monthly teachings, group healing appointments, and practical tools to help women stay steady in their health and peace.

Both spaces are really about helping women move from striving to thriving—to feel clear, confident, and full of energy again. I want women to know that healing doesn’t have to feel complicated. It can be simple, personal, and deeply freeing.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I’m always learning and curious, so there’s usually a mix of books and apps on my nightstand or phone. A few I come back to often are The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis, Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza, and The Believer’s Authority. They’ve all shaped how I see healing, spirituality, physically, emotionally and energetically.

Most days you’ll find me on YouVersion, Trainerize, Insight Timer, or StepBet — a little faith, a little fitness, and a lot of consistency.

And when I’m unwinding, I’m usually reading about fashion trends, minimalist home design, or new protein-forward recipes. I just love beautiful, functional things, whether it’s a well-styled space, a good outfit, or a high-protein breakfast. To me, that’s what healing is all about — creating a life that feels light, joyful, and totally you.
