Meet Angelica Mullins of Angelic Glam Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelica Mullins.  

Hi Angelica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hi, I’m Angelica Mullins, 26-year-old mom, wife, and entrepreneur. I started my entrepreneur Journey at 22 years old. I decided to quit 3 jobs and pursue my goals to sale hair. I started selling hair out of trunk of my car and grew from there. After learning the hair game, finding valuable vendors, seeing the ups and downs, I then started my entrepreneur goals to teach others how to start their very own business selling hair. At 23, I opened my very first store Angelic’s Glam Bar, a one stop shop for all your hair care products and hair installation needs. Opening Angelic’s Glam Bar, we faced a lot of trails being shut down due to the global pandemic, and being so new in business, we didn’t receive much assistance, which allowed me to go back to hustling out of the trunk of my car delivering hair care products directly to people’s front door and even leaving products in people mailboxes to avoid contact. With some downtime, I was able to invest in business knowledge such as limited liability companies, business credit, and more. Covid gave the world a choice you can fold and be scared, or you can face adversity and become your greatest self. Angelic’s Glam Bar became its greatest self. We have now begin teaching others who may be still recovering from the pandemic or even the lower income how to start their own limited liability company and scale to new levels. Today we’ve been blessed to begin branching off into a second company, Full House Realty, that aims to offer affordable living. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Only a month after opening our storefront was shut down due to the global pandemic, with little to no government assistance available due to only being in business 4 weeks. 

As you know, we’re big fans of Angelic Glam Bar. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Angelic’s Glam Bar is not only a company that provides luxury hair and confidence but a company that assist with helping you grow your own business, whether it’s in hair or anything you desire. We love to help people that may not be able to afford the high-ticket coaches. We also value giving back to the community with weekly and monthly give always to help others grow on their journey. I’m proud that we value helping other people who have faced the horrors of Covid 19 or want to get started on their journey of becoming an entrepreneur but don’t know where to start. 

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I’ve learned that in crisis you can cry or you can boss up. I chose to do both. I learned it’s important to structure your business properly and always prepare for anything.
