Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Thomas.
Hi Angie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Angie Thomas. I have been a cosmetologist for over 30 years; I hold an associate’s degree in the applied science of cosmetology as well as a licensed master instructor. I am a small-town country girl with class, who had a vision/dream for my next and final 20 (hopefully) years in the industry of helping people feel and look as beautiful as they are.
I found this little suite, which was nothing more than a bay area with a huge garage door, installation, wires, pipes etc. exposed, that needed lots of work. Most people would have taken one look and said, “heck no” but not me, I had a vision and I knew I could make it beautiful, cozy, unique and TRENDY! A place where clients would feel the magic as soon as they walk in the door, where they feel welcomed and appreciated. A place where you can throw your feet up with a glass of wine, relax and forget about the worries of this world. You will receive all of this at HAIR TRENDY, because when you’re in my chair and it’s all about YOU!
I wanted to leave a mark on this world, I want people to remember me, remember the impact I hope I had on their lives, and remember HAIR TRENDY! I named the salon Hair Trendy because as a seasoned hair stylist, the younger generation may think that I can’t do or know the latest Trends, but I do! I’ve seen it all, colored it all, and stay passionate through every trend. Whether it’s the gen z glam, millennial sleek or something totally unique, I’ve got you covered.
