Hi Arnisha, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into wedding and event planning started from a genuine love for celebrating people and creating experiences that feel personal and unforgettable. I launched my business, originally called Arnisha Gaither Events, a few years after planning my own wedding. What began as a passion project quickly turned into a full-time career when I realized how much I loved the logistics, creativity, and relationships that come with planning weddings and events.
Over time, my business evolved into The Gaither Collective, a Greensboro-based wedding and event planning company built on connection, collaboration, and intentional design. We specialize in creating remarkable celebrations that truly reflect our couples and clients
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like most entrepreneurs, the road definitely hasn’t been perfectly smooth but every challenge has helped shape The Gaither Collective into what it is today. One of the biggest challenges was finding balance especially as my business grew and I became a mom. Learning to delegate, build a team I trust, and create systems that support both our clients and our workflow has been a huge part of that growth.

The Gaither Collective is a full-service wedding and event planning company based in Greensboro, North Carolina. We specialize in curating celebrations that feel effortless, personal, and deeply reflective our clients. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or social celebration, our goal is to make every moment feel intentional and well-executed from start to finish.
We’re known for blending professionalism with personality. Our couples often say working with us feels like having a planner who’s both your calm voice of reason and your biggest hype woman. What sets us apart is how much we truly invest in our clients’ experiences. We don’t just plan the event; we grow with our couples throughout the process, creating a planning journey that’s fun, collaborative, and stress-free!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love most about North Carolina, especially the Greensboro and Raleigh area, is the strong sense of community and creativity that runs through it.
If I’m being honest, what I like least is probably the traffic! I grew up in a small town, so it still catches me off guard sometimes. But even with that, I love how much opportunity and connection this area offers, it’s worth every minute of the drive.
