Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Dog Treats By B, LLC began in 2020 during the uncertain times of Covid when we added Bartholomew, affectionately known as Bart to our family.
I am not a Baker by trade, but I am a full-time work-from-home dog mom, wife, and lifetime animal lover that started preparing homemade food & treats for Bart because I wanted my furbaby to live the longest & healthiest life possible.
Initially, I started baking and sharing our treats with friends & family locally in Charlotte and since then we’ve been sharing all treats and thoughtfully curated pet gift boxes all across the United States.
At Dog Treats by B, LLC we bake a small batch, freshly baked to order, all-natural pet treats with 5 or less human-grade, dog safe, healthy ingredients in our little home kitchen with lots of love.
We offer Dog Gift Boxes for all occasions from birthdays and adoption days to our Just Because Boxes just to spoil your furbaby. We didn’t forget about our feline family either, all of our treats and gift boxes are “Purr-fectly” cat safe as well.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I would say that it can be a process when starting your own business; from order fulfillment and shipping to making sure your customers are satisfied and branding or marketing yourself and your business all while keeping an eye on your potential profit, start-up costs, and your day to day life finances.
Personally, it is so rewarding to see your business flourish and the happiness that I bring to people & their furbabies.
