Meet Caleb Farrell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Farrell.

Hi Caleb, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Basically, I started when I was 7 years old, I always loved the movies and TV shows I watched as a kid. But I wanted it to be real. So I went on my parent’s computer and looked up how people made movies. I came across visual effects, got my first software, and It all started from there. A whole ton of learning and a bunch of mistakes led me to where I am. Never took a class or a course, It just took years of practice to make these films!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely Isn’t a smooth road for most people, especially since there’s no handbook on how to become a successful VFX artist or even a content creator at that… It’s all trial and error from begging to end. Some of the struggles would definitely be building your audience. Because you can make the best content in the world… And still only have a few hundred people watch it at the end of the day.

Luckily now, I built an amazing support group so I’m fortunate enough to reach thousands of views or sometimes even millions. But it’s hard-working a solid week straight and posting it only to get low views. Nowadays, it’s just who you know, and being put in front of the right audience as well. Once you do that you’ll have way fewer struggles along the way!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a professional Visual Effects Artist, I’ve worked on TV commercials, Shows, Music Videos, Celebrities, and Promos for huge companies.

I got recognized making my own content and eventually got emails and DMs from a lot of creators with millions of followers, I ended up working/collaborating with the people I watched as a kid and that inspired me to work even harder to grow my name more in this industry. my first viral video was a video of Mary J Blige dancing with a lightsaber.

From there, I made more videos that went viral and even made it on ABC news. My profession has allowed me to do things my younger self would dream of and fly places I’ve never been to! I’m super grateful for everything that’s happened.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
