Meet Caroline Webb

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caroline Webb.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since I can remember, I have always loved parties, planning them and hosting them. After years of interning for wedding planners in the Raleigh and Charlotte area. When I planned my own wedding, the details were most important to me as I knew what an impact they make on an event.

Fast forward three years – I still enjoy all of these things. Our annual Christmas party always has custom invites with cups to match. We welcomed Charles Oliver Webb into our family in June of 2021 and I have enjoyed designing birth announcements, party invites with coordinating cups, thank you notes, gift tags, all of it!

All of that being said… I am young and married and I do not always have the means to have those custom things! I have found ways to make it obtainable for myself and now I have decided I want to help others do that too!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far it has been smooth, but I just started, so I do not want to jinx anything! Each customer I have worked with has been very understanding and gracious that this is NOT my full-time job and I am just starting out.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I genuinely believe a wedding of 300 people deserves the same attention to detail as a dinner of 6 people around a kitchen island! My goal is that I can help customers bring a personal touch to their next party, shower, etc!

I specialize in custom stationery – (think notecards, notepads, gift tags, holiday cards, thank you notes, etc.) Party supplies- (think napkins/cups/koozies/invites/place cards/etc),

Right now, I am most proud of this little side business and my growing family! I juggle Caroline Webb Designs with a 1-year-old, 6-year-old yellow lab, and husband, but also a full-time job!

I think what sets me apart from others is my turnaround times and affordability. People ask me all the time if I will quit my full-time job for Caroline Webb Designs at some point… honestly, not my plan! I want to continue to make my services affordable and keep the business a one-person show (with the assistance of my family and friends!!).

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I have worked in the customer service field since my first job in high school! From working as a cashier to being a project manager at a local marketing + design firm, customers are always my top priority.

I also have a background in public relations so I know the importance of being transparent. I feel as if my customers have been so gracious and kind because they know who I am and what is important to me.

They know a proof may come over at 7 pm after bedtime or that if they call me, they may hear bath time or a barking dog in the background. I love forming connections and even friendships and this has allowed me to do that.
