Meet Cheryl Bellamy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheryl Bellamy. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Cheryl Bellamy-Williams, CEO – Cheryl is the salt of the WORLD!

She is certainly, light! A Mother, Motivator, Stylist, Salon Owner, Esthetician, Dance Teacher, Master Colorist, Texture Specialist, and Clinic Floor Queen, (she makes it happen!) Dance Studio Owner & Master Educator of 20 years! Wow, The energy, and she loves what she does!

Mrs. Bellamy’s (professional) beginnings started in 2000 as a Makeup Artist/Freelancing with Fashion Fair, Lancome, Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder, and Clinique counters.

The love for teaching immediately kicked in. With extensive training in Makeup Artistry, and the passion to teach, Mrs. Bellamy embarked on her journey to be a Cosmetologist, she attended Carolina Beauty College in Durham NC & shortly after receiving her Teacher’s License.

This journey has provided her excellence with training in TONI & GUY cutting systems, Bumble & Bumble, Redken, Goldwell, Wella & Paul Mitchell culture and systems.

In September of 2007, Cheryl became Educator for a Paul Mitchell Partner School (The Emerald Academy) in Raleigh NC. currently known as Paul Mitchell the School Raleigh. Cheryl has spent the last 11 years in & with Paul Mitchell Systems leading, guiding & training successful students and teachers.

In addition, Mrs. Bellamy has contracted in Durham Public Schools, Durham Parks & Recreational, & Carter Community Charter Schools, utilizing A.R.T.C-U Systems & Curriculum for over 13 years teaching to ages 5-16 years.

A.R.T.C Kingdom-U Manuals: ” Shall we dance” Stylist Dance Manual for Colorist, Stylist Dance Manual for Hair Cutting, Stylist Dance Manual Texture Formations, Stylist Dance Manual for Nails, Stylist Dance Manual for Make-up & Skin.

It is through these systems A.R.T.C Beauté & Aesthetics College was birthed. We believe: To the pure, all things are pure, to those who can believe & see before it appears they will, & can do the impossible!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been easy but worth it.

The challenge for students wanting to attend school, currently financial aid is not offered. The passion & drive I have for individuals to reach their greatest potential is unmatched. Some other struggles have been advertising based on budget.

The easy part is teaching & inspiring all students that attend… the students are always motivated & ready. Currently, we sit at a 100 percent passing rate written & practical with NC skateboards.

What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I have learned is. Placing others first & Theo’s needs. I have found that when people come first success is sure to follow.

• When partial scholarships are available they are offered to students that are able to pay tuition. We do not currently have financial aid. We are working toward accreditation. We have been in business going into our 3 rd year. We have flexible payment plans that work with your schedule
