Meet Courtney White of Raleigh

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney White.

Hi Courtney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my real estate journey while finishing up college, determined to build something meaningful before I even walked across the graduation stage. Like many new agents, I quickly learned that the path to becoming a licensed real estate professional isn’t always smooth.

The first real estate class I enrolled in didn’t go as planned, I failed. It was a hard pill to swallow, but also a wake-up call. I knew I needed to make a change if I was serious about this career. That very same day, I signed up for a course with a teacher I trusted, someone known for truly preparing students for success. It made all the difference.

I went on to pass both the second class and the North Carolina real estate exam on my first try and if you know anything about the NC real estate state exam, you know that’s no small challenge.

Fast forward to today, my business is steadily growing, fueled by the incredible support of my sphere and my social media community. I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has cheered me on, shared a post, referred a friend, or simply believed in me. Your encouragement has helped turn a dream into a thriving business, and I’m just getting started.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Real estate — and entrepreneurship in general — isn’t as easy as it looks from the outside. Staying consistent and motivated is a challenge in itself. I failed my first real estate class, and while that moment was tough, it taught me that resilience is key in this business.

The real lessons don’t come from the classroom — they come from being in the field, learning through experience, and surrounding yourself with the right mentors and support. That’s what’s helped me grow.

In this business, you get out what you put in. The hustle, the setbacks, the growth — it’s all part of the journey. I show up every day not just for me, but for the people who trust me to guide them through life-changing moments. I’m building more than a career — I’m building trust and legacy.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a North Carolina real estate agent with The Property Shop at Compass, specializing in helping first-time home buyers, sellers, and relocation clients navigate the process with confidence and clarity. I use social media not only to market properties but also to educate, connect, and generate leads — making the journey more accessible and engaging for my clients.

As a young entrepreneur who began this journey at 22, I’m proud of the determination it took to get here. I passed my state exam on the first try after facing early challenges, and that moment became the launchpad for something bigger. Now, I get to use my knowledge, work ethic, and heart for service to help families reach major life goals and milestones through real estate.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is helping people feel confident and cared for as they make one of the biggest decisions of their life—buying or selling a home. In North Carolina, there’s such a wide variety of communities, and I love helping my clients find the one that truly fits their lifestyle and goals. I’ve seen how overwhelming the process can feel, especially for first-time buyers, so I make it my priority to educate and guide them with clarity and compassion every step of the way. It’s not just about closing deals—it’s about building trust, and watching people step into a new season of life with confidence. That’s what keeps me passionate about real estate.
