Meet Cristian Quiceno of North Carolina

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristian Quiceno.

Hi Cristian , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I came to the United States from Colombia in 2018 with a goal of building a better future for my family through hard work and dedication. I started working in the flooring and tile industry, learning every aspect of the trade while developing my skills and reputation for quality workmanship.

In 2020, I founded Celeste Flooring LLC with the vision of providing high-quality tile installation and flooring services to homeowners and businesses throughout North Carolina. What began as a small operation has grown through referrals, repeat customers, and a commitment to craftsmanship, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Today, Celeste Flooring LLC specializes in tile installation, bathroom remodels, kitchen backsplashes, showers, flooring, and custom projects for both residential and commercial clients. My wife assists with the administrative side of the business, helping with scheduling, customer service, estimates, and day-to-day operations, allowing us to provide a more professional and organized experience for our customers.

We take pride in transforming spaces and helping clients bring their visions to life. Our journey has been built on hard work, honesty, and attention to detail, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community while growing our family-owned business.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it has not always been a smooth road. When I came to the United States from Colombia in 2018, I had to start over and build everything from the ground up. One of the biggest challenges was establishing myself in a new country, finding clients, and earning their trust. There were times when work was slow, and managing the financial side of the business was stressful. As the company grew, I also had to learn how to balance running projects in the field while managing the day-to-day operations. Thankfully, my wife has been a huge support by helping with the administrative side of the business. Through hard work, persistence, and a commitment to quality, we have overcome those challenges and continued growing Celeste Flooring LLC year after year.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am known for my attention to detail, precision, and ability to bring my clients’ vision to life. Whether working on a small residential project or a complete renovation, I take pride in creating beautiful, durable, and modern spaces that add value to a home. I stay up to date with the latest tile designs, installation techniques, and home remodeling trends to ensure every project meets current standards and styles.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The tile and flooring industry is moving toward larger-format tiles, minimalist designs, and high-end custom installations. Homeowners are investing more in spa-style bathrooms, modern kitchens, and durable flooring that adds long-term value to their homes.

Over the next 5–10 years, I believe we will see continued demand for porcelain tile, large-format panels, and low-maintenance materials. Technology will also play a bigger role, with digital design tools helping clients visualize projects before installation begins.

Sustainability and quality craftsmanship will become even more important as homeowners focus on products that last longer and require less maintenance. At Celeste Flooring LLC, we see a strong future for custom tile work, modern renovations, and personalized service that helps homeowners create beautiful, timeless spaces.
