Today we’d like to introduce you to Daisy Dance.
Hi Daisy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Hi, I’m Daisy.
I fell in love with singing when I was around eight years old, and I’ve never looked back. I signed my first record deal at 14, and my journey in the music industry has continued to evolve ever since.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a beautifully challenging, exciting, frustrating, and incredibly rewarding journey so far. I spoke about it in much more depth in my last interview with you guys, which you can still find online if you’d like to read more. 🫶🏼
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a professional singer, songwriter, and performer, specialising in UK dance and house music. With over 15 years in the music industry, I’ve performed at high-profile events, released original music, and built a career that spans live performance, recording, and mentoring emerging artists.
What sets me apart is that I’m currently the only female MC on the event circuit, offering clients the unique opportunity to book me as both a live vocalist and host for their event.
My latest single, ‘Beautiful’, a collaboration with Italian songwriter, composer, and producer TRIBALFLARE, was released on 24 July and showcases my continued passion for soulful, uplifting dance music.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’d probably say I’m not naturally a risk-taker. In fact, I tend to overthink most decisions sometimes to my own detriment. I have taken risks throughout my career, and some have paid off while others haven’t, but that’s all part of the journey.
Ironically, the biggest risks I take are usually when I’m performing live. When I’m on stage, I feel present, instinctive, and much more willing to trust my impulses.
At this stage in my life, I’m less interested in chasing overnight success and more focused on building something that lasts. I believe real success comes from persistence, consistency, and showing up again and again.
I know… probably not the most exciting answer, but it’s an honest one!
